I remember exactly where I was when, as a 9 year old English kid, I learned thet England had lost, at home, to Scotland. I was upset, of course, but now I think it was probably for the best. Long time Celtic fan since.
I'm a Celtic Fan, but big Jim Baxter and wee Jimmy Johnstone epitomized the way to this day i think the game should be played, beat them yes but then take the piss, its the only way you learn getting humiliated is a great motivator to do better, and that year we taught Europe a thing or 2 Absolute Legends god bless them all, It is what we pay our money for to be entertained, the barging rights, it's what inspires our children to keep the game alive attacking football combined with skill and tactical awareness - UNBEATABLE
I'm a Fan of Liverpool. Became a Fan of RANGERS after Mo Johnstone Signed because FOOTBALL is a sport that should bring people from all colours religion etc togather..
I love Scotland because it is a working class country against english chauvinism. And learning that a bunch of lads from Glasgow came over my country, Portugal, to raise the European Champions Cup made my day.
66/67 was unreal in Europe, Celtic winning the European Cup Rangers should have won the CWC and in the fairs cup Killie get to the semis beating Leipzig, Gent and Antwerp Dunfermline went out to the eventual winners on the away goals rule while Dundee United just beat Barcelona home and away and then Juve at home after losing away.

We won't be successful again in Europe tillweee go all Scottish ,bring the players through ,Glasgow is teaming with gifted players ,get it sorted
