Parts availability All the above points are based on experience with first gen. Jawa42. Classic legends need to understand standard that no one can do their advertisement better than a happy and satisfied customer.

It will require immense effort to dislodge REs solely considering the emotional quotient attached with them. So far I believe only Honda has come closer to give them any kind of competition with their CB350 lineup...
Well this one would win definitely look wise, that classic retro look looks amazing with some great fit and finish at certain areas compression to interceptor (I owned it for 1.5year). After test ride I can talk about the refinement part though.

BSA should have added the tubeless rims or alloys which is neccessary for such a heavy bike and that too no centre stand can be added. If centre stand added outside it may damage the abs or some components which are added near the place where centre stand has to fix so . We cannot include it and no tubeless so definitely has a negitive impact on sales. I myself was taking backstep due the same reasons eventhough the bike looks very good. I feel the price is on the higher side compare to RE 650’s which are twins.
Many fools here arguing this cannot beat Re twins, yes it cannot they made it single cylinder for a purpose if it was a twin cylinder the production cost would've been much lesser the company even said it, they wanted a replica of the old single cylinders in modern specs that's why they created this I myself own a Classic 500 and previously used a gt 533 (which was my friends ) so single cylinder higher capacity motorcycle is a different feel only those who rode it know it.

A 650 cc single cylinder engine. Why I get this strange feeling that some of the buyers of this motorcycle will be of the category who put abnormally loud exhausts on their motorcycles to annoy other road users? It will be like that small bunch of annoying Bullet riders with obnoxiously loud aftermarket exhaust made louder and worse. The Interceptor is no doubt a bit loud too, but spreading out the engine capacity to two cylinders does keep the loudness in check, so even with aftermarket exhausts the sound of Interceptor isn't all out obnoxious. A 650 cc single cylinder engine on the other hand will sound straight up obnoxiously loud with aftermarket exhausts, and I can bet that a bunch of Indian motorcyclists will indeed put aftermarket exhausts on this thumper.
I would have gone for the bsa just to set myself apart from the shoal of RE 650's, there's just too many of them on our roads now and it has lost its novelty.
I think it's a mistake they should have gone for an air cooled unit to bring down the cost... they have pitted it against the wrong segment of the twin 650s...
This isn’t going anywhere. I wonder why companies want to bring back forgotten brands. Nobody will go for a retro bike unless it’s from RE. Something big would need to happen for these newer brands to stay relevant. Also, that instrument cluster looks bad.
Should have been atleast priced 20k -30k cheaper ! Many will tell who will give 650cc for 2.7L or 2.8L.. well RE had launched its 650 twins at around that price when launched. 2.99L just for looks.. may be worth it to some.. but a single cylinder would have much vibrations in high speed cruising. For few extra k's you can get a twin cylinder with much refined engine than a sigle cylinder..
I am very much skeptical about its success in INDIAN market..i dont think it can make a mark by putting a single in this segment where RE 650's are jugling with their more refined twins and ample amount of varieties with fresh colour schemes..

It will be a Generator to Operate courtesy 650 cc with a Single Cylinder . Hope it doesnt throw rider out of saddle at higher RPM .
