I got the Synology DS1621+ about a month ago and upgraded the memory to 24gb. I was able to set up 4 VMs (3 MS Server 2022 and 1 Windows 11 VM). You will love this Synology and the more ram the better for running VMs. I look forward to see how you use the VM Manager. Also on the bottom of the DS1621+ is a latch that covers the 2 memory DIMMS. It is REAL easy to swap out the memory.

Just make sure you don't block the intake vents with a piece of paper. Yes, I did this and blew the PSU inside it. :(

@@StephenWagner it roushed up behind as I slid it backwards and I didn't know. Woke up the next day and it was off and would not come back on. Gutted.
