Hoselock 3000 K7 full review and first use

We had to replace our old Hoselock pump after 8 years which was used to pump excess water from a soakaway in the back garden. We purchased this new quieter pump and used the filter from the old pump to double the filtering of dirty water which will hopefully prolong the life of this pump. It moves 3000 litres of water per hour, has a 600W motor and is very quiet. Check out our first use and impressions in this video.

Nice video, but am i missing something. The outlet coupler is too big for a standard 1/2" garden hose, should there have been a smaller coupler to suit?

Can you tell us the model of the old pump that the additional filter came from, or do you have a part number so that we can track it down and see if it is still available for purchase. We need some 'search' clues. Thank you.
