Edinburgh to North Berwick

This cycle was one of my last full days out where I could stay out for hours. It’s a route I’ve been wanting to explore on my bike for a few years now and I’m glad to have finally done it. Looking forward to getting out that way more as there are still so many routes south of Edinburgh that I want to go on.
The train and bike combo just works so well in Scotland and I’m going to take full advantage of that for future videos.
The day was perfect for cycling and there was so much more that I could have added to this video. I could easily do this route again and talk about so many different areas and locations.
I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I did cycling the route.
One thing I didn’t talk enough about was that route 76 doesn’t go all the way to north Berwick. The parts that you see me cycling on busier roads was not on a cycle route. The next time I go out that way I will stick to route 76 to Dunbar or further if my legs allow.
