I'm very impressed I hope this company actually happens and goes into production because I must have one. One other question are spare battery packs available? Hope to hear from you soon thanks bye.

Pulled straight from google just to show the reason electric vehicles don't have gearboxes.
By its design, an IC engine can only reliably spin up to a certain mark, around 7,000rpm for the average petrol-powered road car. They also only make useable and peak torque in a narrow rev band. Thus, a gearbox is used to vary the effective torque and speed as required by differing driving conditions.
Clutch is pretty self explanatory as well.

@@jaysmokey Stock suspension doesn't handle well. If you get it re-valved and have the suspension set right it handles better than any bike I have ridden. It doesn't jump weird. It is a little different to whip because there is no rotational inertia that a gas engine has but otherwise it flys the same. Once you get used to it there isn't much of a difference. The one thing I think it does best is handle in the turns. It does really well compared to the other bikes I have ridden. Producing batteries has an initial upfront environmental cost but over the lifetime of the bike it more than makes up for that, particularly if you charge it off of grid power which I mostly do.

I predict 2023 will show us production EMX bikes. You learn how to jump electric with the power flat kind of like a 125. There’s no way to judge speed (no gears or noise really) so it makes you really good at timing. The hand brake is kind of awesome, but it got me in trouble a few times when instincts kicked in, so foot brake went on. My left hand is bad too. I’m going to fab some parts so I can run both though, it’s killer to slip the brake for hard pack corner traction.
H8rs will hate, but I bought a KTM due to being in business still. Map 3 on the KTM would be perfect on this track, but it doesn’t have enough juice to clear that table-table. Any bigger of a track and it would be worthless until we can figure out how to overclock the motor. It’s flat at basically 40mph. Like being stuck in 3rd on a 250F. It’s about Map 2 Alta equivalent. They’re insanely fun. Volhand and Musquin ride them. I just had a full suspension job (needs it) for MX. Can’t wait to get back on (injured). I was without a gas bike for a few months and never missed them at all. I got Ryan Hughes on it and he had a blast 🤣

No such thing as truly clean energy, electricity is in most cases 'cleaner' because even if that power comes from fossil fuels it's more a more efficient way of delivering power compared to a mechanical transmission in most circumstances. It's a non issue with bikes as they are absolutely tiny portion of energy consumption. A "dirty" motorbike is still a much better form of transport for the environment than just about any car.
The only real environmental benefit is air quality but aside from old 2 strokes near an urban area this is only minor as well.

I just can’t get into ripping around on what sounds like a Barbie Jeep.
Much respect to the makers I’m sure it’s amazing but it’s going to be like sex with a condom on

When you feel the torque you'll be glad you have the condom on

Imagine having a electric pro category in addition to the AMAs 250 and 450 series one day. Hearing the Riders shout and making noises on TV while battling mid-Moto xDD

You could use off grid solar panels.
      Free energy kind of thing.

Perfect review ,i live near a forest but i wont ride in their (others do ) for noise issues ..this if i could find ,afford ,would fit the bill ,i always worry about longevity replacement parts etc ..a petrol bike for some of us is expensive to repair but with enough research most of us can fix most things ,these electric bikes on the other hand, wont have a large spares or used parts web site to look into (well at least i dont think so ) that may change if alta sell enough of them ..so that scares me a little .. My sons first bike was a gas gas electric bike and the batteries new were seriously expensive but it was a good bike for him to learn on ..

As Alta is over and out they won't ever 'sell enough of them'. So I got no idea how long any spare parts will be available. Ok, if once there will be no longer any parts to get and some bikes won't be to fix anymore there will be used spare parts again... But to me that wouldn't be a base to buy on a bike for sure.
Never heard of a GasGas e-bike, can you tell about?
