Farrah died June 25, 2009, that morning. Michael Jackson died soon afterward. Poor Farrah's death was almost forgotten because of MJ's death. I remember you, Farrah! You fought a long and courageous battle against your cancer. I love ❤️ and miss you, beautiful lady!

As soon as it broke on TV that Jackson died I looked at my girlfriend and said "Poor Farrah" She ask "What do you mean?" And I told her "She spent the rest if her life after Charlie's Angel's trying to get that level of fame back and never could and now even in death she's being overshadowed, nobody will ever remember this as the day Farrah died, from now on it'll always be the day Micheal Jackson died".
Back when gathering at the stage door was a quiet thing, my dad took me on a long-awaited trip to New York City. We saw Ossie Davis and Judd Hirsch in _I'm Not Rappaport_ and I had the pleasure of meeting him after the show. No souvenirs, but an everlasting memory.
Thank you for mentioning Brian Murphy. I loved Man about the house and George and Mildred. Classic TV. He was an excellent actor. He will be missed. And thank you for remembering those that left us in years passed 🙏
_Carmen Jones_ is one of my all-time favs, so I instantly recognized Olga James and was sad to learn of her passing. As far as I know, she was the last surviving cast member from _Carmen Jones._ RIP💔
Virginia Halas McCaskey, owner of the Chicago Bears, passed away February 6th at age 102. Just thought this was of note. I enjoy and appreciate your weekly videos!
Respect to all the Chicagoans also through the good times and bad, even the ones who downright hated the McCaskey family, always shielded Virginia from the barbs and arrows. Her whole life was the Chicago Bears, since her father George Halas founded the team in 1920 and she was born just 3 years later.
Thank you for your hard work and tireless weekly efforts. You provide an important service to the community. I use your information as part of my weekly wrap up podcast for accuracy and posterity.
I can't believe these were left out. It was also a year ago Wednesday(Feb 5, 2024) we lost Toby Keith. Also 66 years ago Monday (Feb 3, 1959) "the music died", a phrase coined by Don McClean in his song American Pie in reference to the plane crash that claimed the lives of Buddy Holly Ritchie Valenz & J P Richardson aka the Big Bopper
Perhaps because of the haunting photo of his bidy at the crash site, but Buddy Holly's death does stand out! His iconic photo in the black suit with the guitar lives on too
I remember changing out of my school uniform as I heard the news on the radio…loving her voice the minute the Close to You Album was released, I understood that lyrics were telling a story… I still have a hard time listening to The Carpenters without crying 💗

Thank You! I was unaware of the death of Brian Murphy, It seemed odd to find so many post of his work on TH-cam this week. Whilst he was a beloved/legendary comedy show actor, he is not credited with the brilliant dramatic parts which were often under the radar for his talent. I greatly appreciated this after watching "On Your Way!" which he played Arthur Lucan as Old Mother Riley. I was astonished how he added so accurately the physical characteristics as to deliver a flawless performance of a long forgotten favourite. He'll long be remembered for his perfect pairing with Yootha Joyce. His work will live on, he will be sadly missed. RIP.
You missed Mort Künstler. American's most prominent historical artist. He died February 2, 2025 at the age of 97. He is best known for his paintings of historical events like the American Civil War, like The Rough Riders, and Battle at Gettysburg paintings that are in display in museums and art galleries. His movie poster work like The Poseidon Adventure and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three posters are also well known among movie buffs. His art work is shown all over the world. He died in Rockville Centre, New York.
I worked at movie store way long time ago and loved waiting for new posters to come in and we could keep em if we wanted em when next month came. That was back in 06-07.
It makes me sick to my stomach to see the last of the Tuskegee Airmen die knowing that it took years for them to get the recognition they deserve only to see this administration try to strip them of it by blanketing it under DEI. I’m just glad there was such an outcry that they changed it. This administration is doing everything it can to erase our history and contributions.
I remember seeing a documentary regarding the Tuskegee Airmen. It was so interesting, but also heartbreaking to see what these men gave, went through, and for so long not being recognized. There was also a group of American Indians who were known as the wind talkers. They were a group of men who spoke their native languages over radio transmissions, giving necessary information to other locations of American troops. The enemy was unable to decipher their transmissions, thereby giving a great advantage to the American and allied forces. No matter what anyone thinks, all of this needs to be taught in a school history class. We need to have knowledge and respect for all who served our country.
Thank you for your service to our World War 2 veterans who are still with us and those who have passed. Also, my condolences to to the families of all those who have passed away this week here and around the World. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤

RIP to everyone featured. Natalie Cole with one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. Farrah passing was a sad one for me as well as she battled cancer, hoping to live to see her son out of prison. One of my favorite movies she played in, that doesn't get mentioned is "Extremities". A must see!!!
Hi @rivermoon6190 - thank you for watching our channel. Of course, in any given week, it’s not up to *us* who dies - that’s God’s call. We look at each week’s obituaries and do our best to choose the three most relatively recognizable individuals whose deaths have made the news during that timeframe. If you look back through our videos, what you’ll see is that *most* weeks, because of simple statistical likelihood, at least two out of those three turn out to be white Americans. But sometimes, the answer to the question “what publicly noted people died this week” happens to stack up in the other direction. That’s just the normal course of life and death here on God’s blessed earth.
I was at Candlestick Park when the Loma Prieta earthquake pitched us around. Because the earthquake started without a big jolt, when the concrete overhang up in the nosebleed section started to shake down little pebbles , the woman sitting next to me asked me what I thought it was I said “birds’ nests” and chimed in with “oh…yeah…me too” by which time the earthquake was roaring.

A must see!!!
. . . 🙏 Wonderful channel, thank you very much💚... ...Artist, Old Naples Florida🌴🎨
🩵🙏They all rest in blissful, eternal peace 🩵🙏😊
Thank you but a little less DEI on your thumbnails.

RIP Mr Vincent 😢
