Both Jin and Joon are from the Gyeonggi Province so I'm guessing they decided to stick with Hope since he's the only one from Jeolla. And that probably explains how the team was split. Makes sense to me.

He used to stay up late and practice to get better and not eat all day to get thinner and still cry because he thought he wasn't good enough. Jin was said to not have good vocals and was given almost 0 lines. He used sing during the chorus with the others. Namjoon was criticized very cruelly for his name "Rapmonster" and his hairstyles. J-Hope was the least popular Member. He felt sad due to that. Suga's parents were not supporting him and he wanted to prove himself. And many more. Even though they are happy here, and they are usually happy when they are with eachother, they had a lot of tensions and fear of not being successful. Today they stand with their head held high and very confident. I know they have become more famous now and have more things to care about than those days, but now at least they don't feel the same way they used to about themselves. They feel much better.
