They only started using instruments recently and if they do, you'll see it in the video. 😉 I agree with you about the haunting sound. I think it's the steel guitar sound that gives that sense to the song. Chance has the perfect voice for this one, too. Like Tim, he can make you forget that he's a baritone/bass sometimes! "American Pie" feat. the original artist, Don McLean, is another one where he sings in a higher register and kills it. "I Can't Outrun You" is a gorgeous song and spectacular video, with Chance on lead in his beautiful bari/bass voice, and his concept & direction of it, as well. The harmonies are some of their best in that one! Can't remember if you've done either of those, but I HIGHLY recommend both!! 🎶💕🎶💕
Nice lead by Chance. His voice reminds me of that first cup of hot coffee in the morning. The depth of talent in this group is mind blowing. Not a weak link in the bunch. Kind of a deep, thoughtful love song. They sure know how to hit you in the feels! I don't think there were any instruments.

Chances voice is so velvety smooth with a touch of haunting sound to it.. I put this song on to help when I've had a bad day. Helps me relax and enjoy the rest of my night. My other favorite is "Dive Bar Saints" a Home Free original This song has given me certain feelings. My partner battled his drug and alcohol addiction. For a moment it seemed that our love won. He was still dealing with his medication problem, when after 10 years of being off the alcohol he suddenly started again.. Together with the medication it cost him his life. He died unexpectedly 2 weeks after his 60th birthday.
They only have very few songs with instruments (mostly together with other artists) and with only one single exeption (Save the World) you can actually see the instrument in the video. If you don't see an instrument it is a capella

All vocal they don’t use instruments normally the only song I can think of that they themselves use a guitar is Born In The USA ( Bruce Springsteen cover ) the other times there are instruments is when they collaborations with other singers and that singer uses instruments. This is a good performance, but you can't beat Jason Isbell's performance of it. It's his story and he talks about writing it for his wife and playing it for her. It's rather heartwarming to hear the audience cheer for him when he sings the line about getting sober and swearing off the stuff, forever this time.

But if you are serious about doin this invest in equipment that has the ability to add bass. Listen to Da real Adogg or Dramasyd reaction and the quality of the music then listen to yours. It's easy. I'm a musician. You can do this and you will get more subs.
