What a cute collection! Purple Beard Tongue reminds me of Orly Kaleidoscope Eyes or maybe Scenic Route. I love it! I also can never get enough lavender/periwinkle colors.
When you started showing the green my first thought was nail art. I so wish these had been creams and not crelly formula. They’re all pretty though, just not wowing me.
yes exactly my thoughts! i was expecting them to be a lot more creamy/opaque. i’m sure they would be fine though, they still seem super pigmented. but i hear you!

Apricot Whisper reminds me a bit of DVN’s High Plains. High Plains might be a bit more orange. I like this original take on a spring collection, very cute and your video was great, as always!

“Apricot Whisper” (😮💨😮💨😮💨), “Stem” (😮💨😮💨), “Purple Beard Tongue” (😮💨😮💨😮💨) are my faves. The skittle mani was so pretty-it read very preppy. I liked that! Omg your floral mani was insanely beautiful! I absolutely love this collection! It is so cool that she made a deep Spring color story. Thank you as always for your swatches and comparisons! Yeah I wasn’t the biggest fan of the formulas from my first cracked polish order. Some of the cremes were just more thin than I like as some of these ones were but good to hear that the makeup collection ones are more creamy. How does apricot whisper compare to the new Olive Ave cirrus?
yeah that’s how i feel most Cracked cremes are, so I was pleasantly surprised with the Makeup collection since they were pastels! and oh Apricot Whisper is very different, it’s more of s true peach base while Cirrus is like a warm off white with a peachy shimmer. but i think the shimmer glows more in Cracked! ✨
so glad you’re loving these, especially the lavender! and Stem is much darker than F*ck Kale, that one looks almost neon in comparison but pretty similar formula wise, I remember Kale also leaning pretty crelly like and needed 3 coats! if you want, just send me a DM on insta and i can show you a side by side 💚
I'd never heard of this brand before watching your video. I live out near Mt. Rainier and I'm not too sure about the NAME of this collection. In this part of the country, we truly are experiencing dramatic climate shifts. When I moved here 20 years ago, it was a rare thing to have a sunny, warm 4th of July. But now? We usually have our first heat wave in May and it is not uncommon to see entire apple orchards covered by sunshade cloth in Eastern Washington to protect the crops from sunscald and invasive insects. So...not quite the "gloom" of yesteryear. That said....I like the periwinkle from this collection and Apricot is lovely!
oh i’m glad I could introduce you! yeah I can see how the climate crisis has unfortunately shifted the weather, maybe her vision with the name was to honor what spring in the PNW used to or maybe should be? when my partner and I visited Seattle a few years ago in the fall, we expected it to rain everyday of our trip but it only happened once! so it definitely is sad to see how much the climate has changed.. but i’m glad you do like those colors though! 🍑💜

do you mean sweet nightmare? insomniac is the lilac one, but i personally would still call sweet nightmare a little too dark/purple to be periwinkle!
