Can the axle be damaged when changing brake pads and rotors? I just recently had those done and then a week later it’s back in with supposed axle wear and tear.
Does the Pilot and Ridgeline front end identical? If so, all torque specs are the the same?
Just a question bro, I did the suspension of our car and accidentally pulled the passenger axel! Same as what you did, grease leaked out but I properly put it back, is there any way that I can regrease the axel? And what kind of grease do I need to use? Thank you so much! What size air hammer did you use to get the axle out of the knuckle? Cuz I have a 20 gallon air compressor with 3/8 fittings. I’m hoping mine is big enough.

There just bolts holding it’s the easier thing to remove after you remove all of other crap like in video
What is the socket number for axle?
I have the 2017 honda ridgline and it was 36mm
What did you use to replace the strut? Did you use a Monroe strut assembly or did you replace only the strut and reuse the springs?
I'm a little disappointed. I have a 2017 with 76000 miles and they both have oil seepage. One is worse than the other. I'm looking for strut assembly options to avoid having to compress and remove the springs. I'm trying to do this at home. Any suggestions for replacement options is appreciated. I only see one strut assembly option at Rockauto and I'm not familiar with the brand.
yeah back in days we used to compress so many struts to save $... these days mostly we buy strut assembly ...best option for home diy is get strut assembly..I replaced this one because costumer hit huge pot hole or something and bend strut assemble with some other minor things, as you can see somewhere in video when I got 3 bolt on top lose that hold trust assembly , usually it just falls down but not in my case because everything was bend , I had drill hole little bigger to fit new struts assemble..
My seems bent as well I thought they usally came like that I have a 2023 Ridgeline and I broke my control arm inner tie rod and my axle came out so I replaced control arm and inner tie rod but I’m confused on the strut it’s self I want to reuse some parts on my strut because oemparts for all parts for the struts are 738$ total
