Sounds real good man. Those mechanical engines are worth their weight in gold these days. Just did a Cat platinum rebuild on a C15 and you don't want to know what that cost....lol. Nothing like a 350 or 400 Cummins or a good ol' 3406B kitty...
Love it..we always like hearing that sound. Means trucks coming to get logs..love the beautiful scenery on the ride..keeps us loggers working with office views like that..
What a beautiful sound. Big cams, 3406s, some of the older detroits, 12 valve Cummins, even a done up duramax all have sounds I just can’t get enough of. 7.3 fords sound nice too.
Could be and probably might be. I’ve never noticed a problem with not covering the exhaust though. Maybe someone that know will get on here and tell us. Cause I’m not sure one way or the other
we tape the exhaust on some of are equipment if its going to be at highway speeds, Back roads we don't. The wind can spin the turbo backwards and without oil being fed can damage it
Have hauled exhaust turned into the wind on many machines for 30 years with no turbo trouble. I'm sure it's not good for them but I don't loose much sleep over it.
@@hoskinslogging9858 I followed ya'll sense day 1 sense the first video was ever made enjoyed everyone of them can't wait to see what other videos u have to show
@@hoskinslogging9858 I work for Gordon food service and sat on the side of the road broke down for 5 hours exactly where you started this video lol. This is where new 30 meets old 30 or at least it was that way a year or so ago.

Always enjoy!
God this truck has a beautiful set of lungs. I don't think I would ever get tired of that exhaust note.
I love it
Lol

Oh I know what that cost, cost more than I paid for a half ton ram pre pandemic! We are waiting till after the 1st of the year to do ours.
@@jacobcornelius1278 It costs ALOT of money lol
Can I know how much??
@@jeffersonmoctezuma3733Probably over $20,000 at least

Nice ride along!
No smoke runs clean can’t see what the big problem with that is , EPA just wants to ruin a good thing all the time
Nox
What size exaust is that. Sounds good
Is it detrimental to the turbo of the machine on the trailer to be fed wind? Not trying to knock the video I’m just curious

I honestly couldn't tell you on that one but I'm sure there is merit too it now how much no clue lmao.
Id imagine by the time it gets thru the curves in the exhaust plus the muffler, all that turbulence destroys what airspeed the incoming air has!
First comment was nice to see another video from y'all was wondering when I'd see another video
Been a little busy here lately. Sorry to keep you guys waiting though! Hope you enjoy the video. Got more to come!
