I think the '12 Jag XF Portfolio is one of the single best luxury car values on the market right now. It is the peak of the X250 series, right before Jag switched over to supercharging everything. It is the final build in the X250 series and all of the bugs are worked out. It is an absolutely amazing car and very, very affordable. I wouldn't be surprised if the market realized what a fantastic buy this car is and the values rise drastically. 385hp NA 5.0L V8 that has power for days, completely loaded to the hilt with luxo features, and looks amazing? Nothing like it on the road.

I have a 2011, love it, Jag was making good cars. Idk about after 15. They stop putting v8s in them. I know a super charger with a v6 but I still want a v8.
About a year ago i got one with 58k miles and took it to the dealer and they said it needed 17k worth of repairs including the engine timing chain… your better off with another car, only get these cars if you got the $$$$ to spend. I also returned it the 2nd day
@@Prime.sam. they have updated timing chain kit, water pump, cooling hoses and injectors for XF. Once it's done with updated parts, XF is very reliable vehicle. And one of a few with V8 5.0 engine.

@@IbuildshipsWagnerEdmond The non-supercharged V8 makes 375 horsepower and the Supercharged V6 makes 340 horsepower. Small, but significant difference. I would go for the V8 all day unless you really like superchargers, or want a little better mpg.

Joe GF yes it is. It’s a great car people always compliment me on it even though it’s not even the latest model

Independent mechanic can fix everything for 4-5k. Timing chain job costs $1700-$2000 at euro cars shops.

Some electrical reliabilities but overall it much just expensive to maintain since parts are foreign.
