Seon Ho's love for Hwi and Yeon is so all encompassing that it drives every motivation of his. He does everything he can to save them both, at times risking his life for them. That small moment in episode 4 where he helps Hwi bury his father's body and says 'don't cry or Yeon will worry', both the siblings are his priority NOT just Hwi. But hiding Yeon, turning to her in the way she used to turn to him, finding solace in her warmth, home in her trust and love for him, it made him want to live. It's no secret that Seon Ho continues to do the most reckless things, risking near death for both the Seo siblings, but being with Yeon, he got a taste of what it would be like to actually live by someone's side who loved you. And in the end he lost it all. He loved her so much, so much so that it continues to propel him in the series, and that's no joke considering her embroidered cloth was on his sword.
I kind of blame Hwi for her death. I knew the minute she left Seon side something bad was going to happen. I know Hwi loves his sister but his steps are careless, if she was with Seon Ho she wouldnt have died at least not first.i wish Seon would remove all past friendship from Hwi and finally fight him like an enemy instead of endangering his life.
Um idk I love seon ho, but he's always had issues with ego. As much as he loves them his ambition was always a hair above. It's only in the end he truly appreciates the value of their friendship. His character was written and portrayed well so you understand why, given his upbringing under his dad and feeling like an imposter. He tries so hard....to wash off the humiliation and prove himself. Deep down his intentions were good and his ideas noble but he never got to shine the way he wanted to. That broke him. Until the end when he realised their relationship was more precious than success and revenge. Hwi knew that from the start that's why he's always surrounded by people who voluntarilly put their lives on the line for him.
There were moments that Sunho loved Yeon as a sister and moments that he loved her as a lover. I think he was honestly confused himself because he did had a mini crush on Huijae for a little while. I would say that he didn't know that he loved her until she passed away, which made sense even more when he said that he had missed her so much right before passing on as well.

The story, the casts, everything in this series are splendid. Seon Ho character was so heartbreaking and lonely. The only person who genuinely love him was Yeon. When I finished the series, my heart ached so much, I remember Seon Ho's heart wrenching journey and amazing friendship he has with Hwi.
Seon Ho do love Yeon. The fact that Yeon death effect him more than when he think Hwi is death. When he think Hwi is death, he didn't go crazy because he still have Yeon who he need to protect. Yeon keep him sense, but when Yeon death Seon Ho go crazy. He literally lost the will to live and fighting. He is life but his soul is death. It was true love.

Seon ho feeling for yeon is a mixed feeling, his guilt toward Hwi, he try to solve those feeling through yeon. It's both sorry, genuine love and care and also responsibility. So in my opinion even if Hui jee accept him, he will try his best to saved Yeon, and when Yeon death, he will still be desperate.

Hwi's desperate run to find his sister despite being hurt, only to watch her die in front of his eyes was one of the most hearbreaking moments of the drama. It was in episode 9. The beginning of episode 10 was also grandiose in terms of emotions, with half-dead Hwi facing Nam Jeon (Yang Sejong was soooo incredible), Seon Ho crying Yeon's death, Hwi saying his last goodbye to Yeon and eventually deciding to go on living. Both Hwi and Seon Ho loved Yeon. But Yeon was first and foremost Hwi's dear sister. He raised her and dedicated all his life to her after their father died. After they got separated, Hwi longued for Yeon endlessly, and even got emotionnally tortured by Seon ho when he found out she was alive and amnesiac. It's true Seon Ho took care of Yeon but it's the least he could do after betraying his friend. In a way he stole his friend's sister. It's a good thing that he got attached to Yeon within this time, she probably kept him from losing his mind. I understand Seon Ho's sadness. However Hwi's pain is unbearable and the loss of his sweet sister will forever haunt him.

@@imanejaz5403 i mever think about that, because hui jee look so in love with Hwi, but i think even if hui jee give seonho a chance, he still can't just cut off his relations with Yeon. Seon ho feeling for yeon is a mixed feeling, his guilt toward Hwi, he try to solve those feeling through yeon. It's both sorry, genuine love and care and also responsibility. So in my opinion even if Hui jee accept him, he will try his best to saved Yeon, and when Yeon death, he will still be desperate.

Hwi's desperate run to find his sister despite being hurt, only to watch her die in front of his eyes was one of the most hearbreaking moments of the drama. It was in episode 9. The beginning of episode 10 was also grandiose in terms of emotions, with half-dead Hwi facing Nam Jeon (Yang Sejong was soooo incredible), Seon Ho crying Yeon's death, Hwi saying his last goodbye to Yeon and eventually deciding to go on living.
Both Hwi and Seon Ho loved Yeon. But Yeon was first and foremost Hwi's dear sister. He raised her and dedicated all his life to her after their father died. After they got separated, Hwi longued for Yeon endlessly, and even got emotionnally tortured by Seon ho when he found out she was alive and amnesiac. It's true Seon Ho took care of Yeon but it's the least he could do after betraying his friend. In a way he stole his friend's sister. It's a good thing that he got attached to Yeon within this time, she probably kept him from losing his mind. I understand Seon Ho's sadness.
However Hwi's pain is unbearable and the loss of his sweet sister will forever haunt him.
