This is awesome, thank you so much for sharing! I've been doing handstands for almost 15 years professionally but have never gotten anywhere CLOSE to this good... I'm super jealous of your skills and also really grateful to get to see the clarity of your form and most especially to hear your thoughts about what you're doing. That was really unique - I've watched a LOT of people doing one-arm handstands but none of them comment on what their mind is doing and what they're paying attention to and how they're holding all the different layers at the same time. What an incredible gift - thanks again!
Thank you for your kind and lovely words! I am very happy to hear you appreciate me sharing my thoughts. Thoughts while training are really worthwile investigating, it deepens your practice and gives it meaning. If you want to read more, I have written some about this here: artofhandbalancing.wordpress.com/2020/07/06/the-inner-dialogue-of-learning/ Waving to you and best wishes!
You are posting the best handstand content on insta/TH-cam, you’re an elite hand balancer and my personal favorite 💪🏼👏🏻🔥
Thank you for your lovely words :) Best wishes
that was mesmerizing, inspirational and so beautiful that you shared.
This was INCREDIBLE you are such a amazing and inspiring athlete. My handstand journey has only really begun and I’m 40.
It’s incredible how stable and confident you are through each transition. I see what you mean by the blueprint.
Also at times when I am tired I wonder why I’m doing it all, but to see your full practice makes me feel so much better about mine. Not many people share the full time spent. But it is like this to achieve results. My training is about 1.5 hours before the kids wake up.
I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow morning through my routine and I will repeat what you said about conditioning … it’s like paying bills, that’s so very true, so repetitive but essential. Thank you so much for this xx
Thank you. And wow I admire you for practicing in the morning. That would be hard for me. It takes time and work but handstands make you feel powerful in a way few other things do. You hold your body weight and balance it. I hope your journey continues to be exciting and insightful. Best wishes

It's crazy the amount of actual time you and other good handbalancers can spend on your hands.
I know each arm gets rest because you are shifting from arm to arm, but still it's crazy.
im still trying to get good control on 2 arm handstands, and for my practices, the total time spent on hands is like 3 minutes, and my wrists/arms are totally fried after.
I need to build up my capacity!
The frying I think needs to be an official technical term in handstands :) Try having on and off weeks. In the on week you really push yourself, then in the off week just do whats comfortable. Or even on and off days. It helps to push yourself without getting too exhausted or feeling overwhelmed.
Your OAHS is just spectacular. Some calisthenic peaple's can stand on one hand but not much peaple's on earth do this so easly like You.
Thank you :) I try to give it a good flow.
WOW. Puts my half-assed 30 minute session against a wall of my house today in a very humbling context (at least it was warm - 32C - Australia, Summer). Inspired now. Thanks Natalie :)
Thank you. 30 minutes a day is not too bad, consistency is the most important anyway. 30 degrees, I wish :) Windy here in London town...
Hi Natalie! Da du in London bist…. I want to say, „Thank you so much for this stunning performance and for the beautifully made video! It really blew me away!”🙏🥰
This is really impressing, so much time on a handstand. Thank you very much.
Thank you :)
This is incredible.
I respect You so much.

Amazing!!!
Wonderful !!!!!!!
Great video! When did you come back to London? Are you doing any handstand tutorial classes?
I came back some years ago. No group classes at the moment. Once I travel less it will be more possible.
Amazing 💪
Thank you for sharing, I find this very inspiring.
One question: how much resting time do you take between sets? Also, how long you usually calibrate one set, relative to total exhaustion? Do you ever train with a spotter, or always alone? Ok, that was 3 questions :)
I have trained with a teacher during my education. He always spotted me. Now I work without a spot entirely. That means that I work less hard than with my teacher. If you want to really grind yourself then keep the pauses under a minute. The sets of left-righ-left-right are my basic set up. When I feel less strong I do 10 seocnds each side, on better days 20. How much you want to exhause yourself depends on your goals and how much energy you have spare. I used to totally exhaust myself with my teacher. Now it depends how much struggle I can put up with on the day :)
@@NatalieReckert "sidedness" is not thing for me yet :) keeping every rest under a minute would be very tough, I'll try!
I'm sorry you struggle with your hands getting cold. Would something like sweat-bands or wrist-warmers help? (I find they help me to keep my hands a bit warmer at times when I can't wear gloves)
Aww thank you for your concern. My wrists need to be free, that's the other problem. so I can't cover them with anything like long sleeves or wrist warmers.
Awesome Video😄👍Thank you for sharing! Do you train every day?
I train four times a week and do other training on the other days, like yoga, running, fitness.
👏👏👏
I love your leggings, socks, and sweater so much! Where’d you get them from? I want to get the same exact leggings, socks, and sweater as you! I want to match with you! I also love the splits you do while you’re hand standing! Do you do your splits everyday? :) 😱😍❤️😊
Haha, that's great to hear. I do splits or straddle stretches every day. My socks are Nike socks, the sweater I think was primark and the trousers are Puma exercise trousers. I had all three for ages, not sure if they still sell them.
Amazing... ✌️✌️
Align your hips over your shoulders, pulling with your lower back muscles, i feel is your secret......Ok, the first secret.....
Today meke my first 10 secons handstand.. thanks to you, and i I feel like I can reach the sky.
THANKS!!!
10 seconds is a great step! Well done. It is the front and side muscles that align the hips in the one arm handstand. It is very difficult to feel how they work, I try to teach this to my online students :) They look at me in confusion for a long time.
@Natalie Reckert Yes, in my case for 2 years.... or more, but i really enjoy seeing you, how easy get handstand. In yoga class i get headstand, put the elbows in the floor, and when i put my hips over, was my lumbar, low back muscles who pull up the rest of the body, like when i do deadlift but seen up hahahahahaha.... slow but constant!!!
Have a great day!!!

Obsession ;)
Don't you have to check the table levels on all corners???
They are fixed. So if I want to change the level, I have to put something underneath the legs.
