Hey, i will begin to build my own soon, i have a question, where have you buy your wood block and soundboard ? Have you got your soundboard on 1 or 2 pieces ?
    (I'm struggling with finding material)

Hi, it's very hard to find a nice wood block and it's more expensive. Mine is actually made out of 4 wood pieces (yellow pine, mine) glued together (gorilla wood glue is the best, had no issues so far and its very strong) make sure is dry wood, soft wood too. Fresh wood tends to crack when dries. And my sound board is made out of 2 pieces too, of very thin wood 7mm, glued and added extra support on the inside in the middle, 2 thin ice-cream sticks haha... . Hope this helps.

i decided to follow guide, i think i will use glue Titebond brand glue :)
I will maybe ask you other things later, i am still on my wood block research :D
If you have some videos or content of making your lyre process, i'd be very interested to look at it
