- The 2008 ZX6r I bought in one of my previous videos is back and ready to get built. It was a pretty simple rebuild only involved replacing the subframe, repairing the tank. and installing a new set of fairings. The Motorcycle had some cool aftermarket halo headlights and a full Yoshimura exhaust already installed when buying it.

Those headlights are amazing. Currently undoing all the goofs from the “friend” who rebuilt a striker for me
My first bike was a green 2008 zx6r, great to see people still giving it some love to it! One of the best looking zx6r imo. The oem side fairings actually have a bunch of foam pads on the inside for deadening I believe.

I recently bought a zx6r 2008 off someone and I stripped it down all new fairings and everything else I needed except the tank! Where can I find a matte black or just the gloss black tank ?

Hey bro I really hope you can help me out here, I am doing the same set up on my bike same model, and I believe same fairings set (eBay bought), and I am having such a hard time installing the "well nuts" did you have to buy a different bolt kit for this set up or did you use the same bolts and well nuts from the old fairings? I hope I can get some of your expertise. Thank you!

I personally like the mirrors but this one had the block off plates so I decided to keep it.

Watched a couple of your rebuilds and you never show the finished bike. Kinda lame. Would be cool to do a “montage” video to end a build, like tidbits of the process to the end result and riding it. Regardless, dope channel.
On a side note these ^ “montage” videos get the most views.

Personally i think the 07-08 ZX6R is a great looking bike. The 05-06 is only subtly different other than it being 636 as opposed to 599 but the 0506 is fugly and 0708 just right.
