Heard this first in Scooby Doo 2 - Monsters Unleased. I really found it so catchy. It's been more than 16 years and I find it soooooo nostalgic and very catchy than before hahhaha
I still proudly am. I got to know them by means of the OG Teen Titans show and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi went for the kill. I was 16 at that time and 37 nowadays.
Anyone remember about the "Scooby-Doo visits Japan" music video? Not sure if many people remembers though but it was aired for Scooby-Doo 2 movie promotion. Unfortunately, we cannot find that music video on any website. You could say it's either mandela effect or mysteriously disappeared. But I remember that video clearly even now because I saw that music video a lot in South Korea back in 2004~2005. (Cartoon Network: America was aired on certain channels. It was weird for me that Puffy was involved back then.) The Music video's plot shows Scooby-Doo wears a suit and sunglasses and visit Japan for Scooby-Doo 2 movie promotion. Two agents(Ami/Yumi) escort Scooby-Doo to the scheduled location for movie promotion. After photo shooting, many Japanese fans gather around Scooby-Doo for autograph. Scooby-Doo ask to Agent to bring the towel for preparation and gave a big paw print as an autograph. (The girl was happy with the autograph). Sometime later, the two agents continue to escort Scooby-Doo for tour. They visit one of the traditional Japanese restaurant for Dinner. If I remember correctly, Scooby-Doo tasted some Japanese foods and sake etc. That night, Scooby-Doo arrived at his hotel room with exhaustion. Suddenly remember his time with Saggy and the gangs(Flashback from the movie.) and misses them. Ami/Yumi worries about Scooby and decided to cheer him up by wearing Daphne and Velma costume for surprise. (That part really stuck into my brain as a good memory.) With Scooby's surprise, they enjoy jumping around the bed. After some montage, the three of them enjoy riding attractions and more tour around. Lastly, Scooby was time to go back to his country. Ami/Yumi (regular outfit) say goodbye to Scooby with safe travel. That's pretty much about the MV's plot. It's weird and sweet at the same time. It's a shame that the video is gone from our existence. I tried to search it in English or Japanese, none of the websites have that kind of video.
I definitely remember seeing this a few times too. I don't remember anywhere near as much detail as you, though the part I remember most is the pawprint autograph. I can tell you it definitely aired in Australia though
