Signum are probably my favourite trance producers from the golden era. The first time I heard What Ya Got 4 Me I was flying on about 3 pills and I think I actually cried from the intense rushes.
Absolutely "mind blowing"! Anything in my humble opinion by signum is absolutely awesome! Mind you..............they don't make them like they used too!
It is indeed great but I don't think it actually surpasses the original. It is fuller and more dynamic in sound but I find it somewhat repetitive. In contrast, the buildup of the original is beautifully crafted.
There is some massive masterpieces & Remixes from Signum : one of my personal favorites masterpieces is the "Coming On Strong", as well with its remixes. We tipically recognise his style there in this remix, looks also similar to Coming On Strong, maybe both tracks are inspirated from

I agree, the RVDB remix in 2004 (Katana - In Silence) was rather unnecessary. Repetitive, overly long without the buildup and drop of Signum's version, it added absolutely nothing to a great tune already.

A fine representative of those atemporal trance tunes that sound as fresh as ever 20 odd years later.
