We have a rich Caribbean history with great men and woman who have sadly gone to the grave and who rarely get a mention nowadays.

After hearing this song and as a Guyanese I am seriously thinking to myself , who are my heroes. These very people that molded our national identity we have ignored.

Guyana is a perfect example, no mention of the heroes who led the uprising against slavery and oppression, hopefully, they change the narrative and shine the light on them and honor them.

Nelson David Algueida , guess you got a rude awakening! Your president isn’t the brightest crayon in the box. He alienated all of his neighbors and now his country is in turmoil. His people are fleeing into those same countries that he tried to fight down!
