well I have accrued plenty of PTO so I wind up calling my supervisor and letting him know that myself and a co-worker who was stuck on the same train as well weren't going to make it to work, but it too me about 3 more hours to get home from queens..i live in the bronx.. it was an ordeal!!
Sorry that you had to go through that. Happy that you were able to escape safely. What did your boss say when you finally reached him/her? Did you lose pay for this time?

I went back home via bus and then the 7 train to manhattan and then the d train home. it took me 6 hours to get home..
