Can they reverse the patch? I'm pretty sure they can, so its not permanent (what im saying is if they decided to be evįl like ubisoft). Forced online sucks man!!! But i still got gt7 and love it so much i just hope they give us that patch as well when its time is over too.
@@Redbeef0 I'm pretty certain that this patch is permanent as of when they did it, so no they won't reverse it anytime soon. They stopped supporting GT Sport outright.
This is how it should be done. Servers offline = offline patch. I don't care if you have to rebuild your whole game to make it playable offline. Best way to play this game now as a new player is to use the gifted Subaru and start arcade racing. Race clean and have fun. 50% clean race bonus is not a joke. When you start the sunday cup racing use the Subaru. Look ahead what races are coming up and only buy the cars you need. So if you look closely your second car will be a Clio Sport to use in the next couple of races because after that you get Clio cup. GT Sport isn't dead. Just play the game and look around in the showrooms and just like in real life you can't always buy what you want. If you feel like you are grinding to get a car just stop playing the game. If you use this oldschool approach you will love GT Sport offline.👍🏻
@@neomathani2306 brother i havent updated the game yet, it only shows few types of race and few cars. How should i play offline campaign, gt league or driving school? Do i still need to update game to enable these features offline?
This is what classic GT was all about anyway. Online gaming is a must for others but it ruined it all for me. This, pure offline mode, is exactly what I want. It’s like playing my first ever GT (GT3 on PS2) but with upgraded gameplay and controls. That is good enough for me!
you not own games. when servers down you not play. if there offline then you can play forever...hope not need psn. then cant play if service gone lol. who has playstation network anyway after prices get up. yeah yeah stupid people pay and they up prices again... this could be it. peoples stop. and they lower prices
Ahh so that explains why this game seemed really bad when I got it from cex and ended up selling it. We wanted a racing game for casual fun on a PS4 and it just seemed so basic. Any other recommendations?
Yeah it has lost a load of features, to be honest though if you're looking for a track racer on PS4 your best bet is probably Gran Turismo 7. The only other racer I have enjoyed that would be available for PS4 would be The Crew 2, but it is very different to Gran Turismo

This will also happen to GT7 when GT8 comes out for sure. When all GT7's servers will close eventually. And that's gonna be on the PS6. lol....

Yes, if you buy it now it should update to this offline patch straight after installation
