Remember watching this episode as a kid (I had just turned 10!) when it first screened - and the episode had that feel-good factor at the end of Rocky leaving the corrupt gang to join Ken instead.
I was 9 when this first started on tv in mid 80s, i remember wiping the sleep in my eyes away with spit so my mum wouldn't think i was tired and i could stay up to watch this. Never worked and more often than not i'd kick off and get a whack and go to back screaming the house down because i was a spoilt little turd. The memories...
Watched this in Ireland as a teenager with 3 younger brothers and mam n dad. Loved motorbikes and Boons was lovely. Because of only 4 stations everyone else’s watched it too.
yes Michael Elphick was a fine actor rip. plus Dave daker who played harry was a total hunk in my book . I like him a lot plus he also went to to play Gordon Lewis in coronation street in 1981 and 1984 for a short stint
I was 12 when this first came out how did I manage to miss it 😮. You can tell its a TV show as I honestly don't remember anyone having a mobile phone in the 80s 😂.
We have just watched Boon series 1 & 2 & i think 3 but are unable to get the later series only on DVD . They were being shown on tv but have been taken off.....fingers crossed that someone somewhere will take pitty on us and show the later series. !!!! Great series.
Back in the 70's I had a 850 Commando. I used to fill the silencers with used engine oil and let them drain and ride slowly until the oil had stuck to the baffles and acted as a anti corrosion method. One day i was riding slowly along with oil filled silencers when a couple of Unscrupulous looking bikers decided to pull alongside and have a bit of ' fun' . Down two gears and full throttle covered the road with blue smoke and I never saw those troublemakers again !!!
When you think of the aggressiveness and power of modern motorbikes the chase scenes now look desperately dated and feeble.....but then it was 35 years ago!
I was a extra in one of the episodes it was filmed in smethwick in the west midlands in a pub called the red cow can't remember what the episode was called but they filmed in the pub and round the side by the fire escape also gary Webster was there we was payed 20 quid for the pub scene
class programme, acting of the time, not bad acting, great family show.. great script, great entertainment to all critics..DO BETTER YOURSELF!!!!!! when you have, you are entitled to have a negative critic opinion. until then.... BELT UP

Yeah he made a cameo appearance in the prison cell scene.
Lesley Anne Sharpe as Debbie Yates was outrageously fit and attractive. Very tidy indeed.
I was in love with Rocky (Neil Morrissey)
HI ! Do you have an episode 11 of this season? I think it was titled Boon:2x11 paper mafia? I am looking for it everywhere I just couldnt find it

Type in Drama King Boom TV series on You Tube all the Episodes are on there
It was a period we did not have to have a black person on every show!
I find that a bit of an odd comment. I've no issue with black people whatsoever.
