Just like in the stop motion, usually the soul is stored in an egg or a type of hidden object and has to be destroyed in order to kill a Koshchei. That's what I read up anyway. There's more info than that and much more to it, but I just summarized it in a shorter way. I love folklore from around the world and the fact they used it for the Childe animation was really neat!

Absolutely, there's something very unique about stop motions look. The fact that so many little details change at once between each frame, hair, lighting, cloth movement. It's something that CG still doesn't quite replicate in terms of motion and the quality, though can get kinda close in the right setting.
This Hoyofair is definitely my favourite as not only did it start with Amatsuki (0:40) who ive adored and followed for years (a lot of Utaite work in the anime industry so it wouldnt be surprising if youve heard some of them in openings/endings) and also a banger by Lon (30:40) but the highlight for me was seeing my all time favourite singer/rapper/producer Nqrse (1:17:40) i didnt expect him to be in Hoyofair i cannot recommend his discography enough he is also a super funny guy so deffo check him out! The Lumine and Aether sad song also made me cry lol i love the twins their story makes me so sad
Hard agree! This hoyofair was PACKED with utaites. I remember last time they would have only one or two goated utaites, like Yuuto and Hanatan. Also, the singer for the Lumine and Aether one was Wolpis Carter, a man who can sing in a feminine voice. Please do check him out! He's so good.

Honestly in my opinion Moonlit Bamboo Forest is like top tier and the music, sound effects VA everything is just top tier and i hope at least some books get animated like this. Nightfall ops, Fate of Fontain and Romulus is also excellent ones......
