Self- Orientation
Action is based on the actors' (Individual) own interest, needs and goals.
E.g.: A student decides what subject to study
Collective Orientation
Action is based on what is best for the collectivity (Group)
E.g.: A student quits college to work to support his family
Affectivity Vs Affective Neutrality
Affectivity
Emotional impulses are gratified.
E.g.: Mom & Child Love
Affective Neutrality
Emotional Impulses are inhibited.
E.g.: Teacher (Mom) Valuate answer paper ( Emotionally Neutral)
