Hello Ran, would you mind if I would post the link to this video in our MHS newsletter? Cheers, David

David, long time no see, hope all is well with you and family.😋 And of course I don't mind, it is a published TH-cam video in the public domain. But very kind of you to check with me. 👍🏼

An interesting and thoughtful reflection as always Dr Zhang, although I would put your 'education' solution much higher up in the list.

Prof. Losekoot, you are an educator at heart. My thinking on this keeps changing and evolving as I learn to use GPT more. Indeed, education will be key. My sense is that GPT and other AI tools will soon be incorporated into education (and research). Let's keep exploring the topic. 🤗

Just adding what you mentioned about cheating, cheating students could also cheat with works or thesis that is not published online, mean just printed version thesis, and changed a bit here and there

I have a good solution. How about professors and teachers stop making tedious and often redundant assignments and actually try focusing on the important bits. Master Thesis is a good example. I fail to see, why you have to write 60-100 + pages when most of the scientific and nonscientific world is concise and usually smaller than 15 pages.

i'll bet AI will change this. all the useless stuff universities make students do will have to gradually die out, or colleges will!
