Excellent review as always Alanis!! I always get a small history lesson in every video! Please keep that! I can’t wait until you do an off-road driving impression with one of these trucks!
As always lovely video even with the time constraints you mentioned, but I have to give you props: New channel partner Magna? I'm not sure a lot of people realize how BIG of a company Magna is or how many times their logo would be in a bunch of makes and models if that was a thing. Hope they're a recurring partner, and that you get a few more of that caliber :)
Ahhhh thank you! We have the coolest plans with Magna. We're going to talk about a lot of their tech and work they do, so people can learn all about it. It's going to be so cool. Appreciate you
So fair. I love the Bronco. It’s awesome! Magna rocks. I’ve learned so much from them already. It’s wild to have them partnering on the channel

Explanation of differentials reminded me: ...had a regular differential, which, anyone who's been stuck in the mud in Alabama knows, you step on the gas, one tire spins, the other tire does nothing... :)
That was fun! Curious, I had heard once that the Gladiator was smoother on the highway because it essentially “was a Ram 1500 truck with a Wrangler top” where as the Wrangler was all Jeep … for good on the trials but bad on the road. Thoughts? Thanks for another great video 😎👊🏻
Omg this is the most fun question because they’re actually brand sunglasses! Brands buy batches of this shape and put their logos on them - these are my XPEL ones, and I have the same ones but Nissan. They’ll come up if you google “custom brand sunglasses”
I briefly owned a 24' Wrangler 4dr with a 3.5 inch lift, 35' tires on 18' wheels. I liked it very much but it leaked fluids. I didn't want to deal with it so I traded it for my 24' CT4 Caddy that I also like very much. But I do miss the Jeep )-; Waving a hand granddaughter (-;
Another great video, but I was hoping you were going to tell us you would be one of the participants in the desert rally! Didn't you do an off-roading video with your mom for Jalopnik years ago?
I did! I def think I’ll do it someday, but right now, it’s hard to take the time off work due to the off-the-grid nature of the rally. Media moves fast, so I have to be around!
The only Jeep I would get is the Gladiator. I really wish they made one without luxuries in a work-truck fashion. Wind up windows and no cantankerous electronics. No warranty either, keep it simple for us DIY mechanics! Don't wake me up from this dream.
That’s a great q! I’d ask rn if it wasn’t Sunday, since folks aren’t in the office currently. It’s not all desert running (it’s all kinds of off-roading), so I’m sure that was some of it
That’s a sweet looking ride… You’re in my state but there’s no six flags here 😂 I know exactly where you were driving too 🤣 Madison Heights… I saw the couple stores I go to
I had a 2003 wrangler for a few years... Was awesome reliable and went everywhere..... Hated being waved at by other people in jeeps. I don't know you and don't care that you also have a jeep... One and only reason I will never own one again.
I think the Jeep Wranglers for the most part are still pretty good. The new Waggoner and other new SUV’s full of electrical bs and the hurricane inline 6 are questionable.
Thursday morning...time for another great Alanis video!
🤠🤠🤠 hope you love it
@@AlanisKing I did! I'm not a Jeep guy but this was fun to learn the differences between the vehicles.
That Rubicon looks the goods, it’s little brother has some proper chops too. Great builds, and great video with all the backstory too. Peace
Appreciate this so much, Joseph. Thank you!
Underrated channel
Thank you 💙
Excellent review as always Alanis!! I always get a small history lesson in every video! Please keep that! I can’t wait until you do an off-road driving impression with one of these trucks!
Appreciate you. I wanted to off-road them SO badly but can't risk them before the race ; )
I'm really digging the history/context segment. Always learning something new with every review. Love it, thanks.
Ahhhh I'm so glad, thank you

Interesting and fun comparison! Those Jeeps look ready for the dessert race.
Harko! Hi! Thank you : )
That looks raw Alanis! Makes a perfect race vehicle! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Hope you do too Mark : )
@@AlanisKing Appreciate it
“We can tell we are in a more expensive car because first we have power windows!” 😂
Jeep Wrangler Sport is so charming for being so behind the times.
It’s sooooo charming. Hilariously fun to have hand-crank windows
All that magna stuff is pretty cool. I get the jeep thing but my heart loves that bronco
So fair. I love the Bronco. It’s awesome!

Yes! It's such a helpless feeling
Equipped with all kinds of mall crawler goodies, no doubt. So you can drive over curbs with confidence.
HI Alanis! I grew up with crank windows, I think they are still cool! 😁
You're the best. Crank windows in 2024 are so fun!
GREAT VID ALREADY like 5 mins in and im deffenitly watching the whole thing
I appreciate this so much. Thank you for caring
Almost though you were going to take us ona Jurassic Park Tour. I've been offroading once, definitely not my thing lol.
It would fit the theme after the Jurassic Park video with the Hellcat!
Hi Alanis! Hi Algorithm!
Hello! Thank you for helping the algo ♥️
16:50 … now I’m jealous.
Gladiator was smoother for sure! Thanks for watching : )
Love the hat choice for this video. Are you spotting for Bread this weekend?lol.
I WISH. I’m so excited to watch him race!
Off topic question: What brand are your sunglasses?
Love your videos!
Omg this is the most fun question because they’re actually brand sunglasses! Brands buy batches of this shape and put their logos on them - these are my XPEL ones, and I have the same ones but Nissan. They’ll come up if you google “custom brand sunglasses”
I’ve always wanted a jeep wrangler, that gladiator tho 👀. Can we get a follow-up off road video on these two jeeps?!
If I get back out to drive them, totally! I would LOVE to do some serious off-roading in them
Amazing video Alanis! Always love getting the notif for your uploads
Thank you so much for getting notifications. It means the world. I’m glad you liked it!
Great music in this video
Ahhhh thank you! I’ll tell husband, who edited it and takes great pride in doing fun music 🤠
Satie is sublime
Hell yeah!
HELL yeah

Waving hand back! Thank you so much for watching!
Nice Jeeps
Totally agree
Honestly surprising to see a 2-door JL Wrangler. I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild, only the 4-door. It's like seeing a unicorn
: ) Thanks for watching
Good hat. 8/10
🫡🫡 thank you for the weekly hat ranking

Hahaha deal, I will not wake you up!
As a gladiator owner, im curious why y'all went with the Rubicon for a desert run instead of the desert running trim?
That’s a great q! I’d ask rn if it wasn’t Sunday, since folks aren’t in the office currently. It’s not all desert running (it’s all kinds of off-roading), so I’m sure that was some of it
@@AlanisKing okay cool!
If I had unlimited money, I would love to have a 2 Door Wrangler converted into a mini camper to use on weekends.
Yesssssss that would rock
I like the hat.
Thank you! Me too
Erik Satie!
An American manufacture/company needs to buy the Jeep brand from Stellantis and maybe make it a stand alone American brand like Ram.
That’s a sweet looking ride…
You’re in my state but there’s no six flags here 😂
I know exactly where you were driving too 🤣 Madison Heights… I saw the couple stores I go to
No Six Flags! So sad!

Hahahahahahaha this is an amazing comment, thank you
is the death wobble still an issue?
Forums say in 2021, people have experienced it!
a Jeep that'll go 1500 miles without catastrophic failure? 🤣
That is certainly the goal!
I’ll pass on 8 days in a Jeep, but probably a great experience…😂 Another great video Alanis. Looks like you had fun
Hahahaha I'm told it's life-changing! I'm sure it is. It seems like it would be. Thanks for watching : )
You can't fool me. They stole those from Jurasic Park.
Bobs guy is gonna be super disappointed you partnered with thieves!
But the green matches his profile picture
@@AlanisKing 🤣🤣🤣
I'd buy a newer Jeep if Stellantis wasn't garbage.
There are some really standout products, like the Giulia Quad and Hellcats

Nice leggings
