It's a shame that there have not been more views (and comments). I have seen quite a few videos here on You Tube on the same thing - basically an expressway linking SiChuan and ZiZhang (Tibet). This one is the best. Thanks for the video. Please keep up the good work.
Looks like an incredible drive with amazing views. I would definitely love to drive that road from start to finish. What’s the speed limit there? Thank you for the video.
I read there is a 51 kilometer stretch of the highway at a 3% grade, making it the longest slope on the planet. Mindblowing. Nothing like this would ever be built in the U.S where I am lol Thank you, well done! This is probably one of the best videos of the Skyroad I've found, definitely a beautiful tribute to amazing engineering
Mountain tunnels are better than the roads around mountain and bridges which is in the shape of an arc and floors with an earthquake protection system for each floor are better than bridges with columns.
Leave to the smart world renown Chinese engineers ...many infrastructures around the world were built by the Chinese .. In Africa alone the Chinese built 17,000 Kms of highways , many schools , 5 airports and 5 mass rapid transit system...and more.
Hey bro! Great video!! I am working on a video about the worlds largest bridges and was wondering if I could use some of this footage in my video? Full credit to you on screen and a link to your video in the description! Let me know if this is okay with you :) Cheers!
Every section is charged differently, i'm not sure how much the toll of double helix tunnel is, but i can tell you the whole highway from kunming to chengdu, nearly 700km, cost me around 90 dollors. Hope it helps.
Chinese always makes impossible tasks. In ancient days, the great Wall of china and now these highways. I also heard they are converting a huge desert into a forest.
These infrastructures are amazing but carries too much price tag. However if the human aviation technology is given more focus in terms of advancement i don't think we will need much of these brigdes and we'll also save some money as a result.
Thank for this!!!
thanks foor the video

Your words made my day, thank you! I'll definately keep it going.
I really hope it keeps (with these crazy floods) because it's absolutely stunning
Salute to the engineers
salute!
Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience.
Thank you too!
This is really an engineering masterpiece. Congratulations 🎉 Greetings from Germany.
Thank you! Cheers!
Such a beautiful highway in the sky. Great video. Well done 👍
Many thanks!
Spectacular piece of engineering but the film did not show any actual tunnels.
the bridge is actually the main part of the tunnel. If you're refering to the interior, I'll get some clips when i come back😊

yeah! you definitely should try it! it's 110 km/h on highway and 80km/h in tunnels
Beatiful ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching
this video reminds me of little Chinese everywhere yt channel. a internal view of the tunnel would also be good :)
good suggestion, thx

فيديو رائع شكرا لك تابع ❤
thank you!
讲真,这条路真的蛮美的!一年四季景色都不同
下次试试另外那条😊

I bet you're a professional engineer 😄

谢谢你的善意😊@@jamesnotking
Awesome. Absolutely stunning…
thx!
how much are the tolls & fees? i see primarily commercial vehicles. which is good to bring commerce to isolated communities.

This is mind boggling; engineering at its best but as someone who is scared of heights, I wonder if I could make that drive.
I actually didn't feel the height at all when i was driving until I stopped by the rest area "oh my gosh I was up there?!!!"😂
He talks about the 8 years as if it was a long time for something this big 😂😅
Turunan panjang, adakah kendaraan yang kehilangan kendali rem? Rem blong
Are there tourist bus tours on this road?
yes, and you can easily rent a car here and experience the highway by driving

Surveyors had their shit together for this.

good point
👍👍👍👍👍✌️✌️
India can build this type indigenously?
Never!
Pffffft
Do you always say stupid shit ?
CCP propaganda against India is also well up and running I see
Why not. Give it a go. Many fine Indian engineers, somewhere. 😊
