You found a fabulous work of art on wheels Mr. Phoenix, and your discription, as smooth and overstated as the chrome on that car! Some say 'ya never know' but we all know, you know!
Oh my glory to behold, every decadent detail of this magnificent masterpiece, and the electric effervescence of your descriptives, is infinite diviness 💫
I have a friend who’s father owned a used car lot in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He remembers that his parents drove a twin Cadillac to this down to Florida in 1959. What a trip that probably was.
Charles you are the best i definitely enjoyed every second of your representation of every video you do, excuse me if i copy you style hahahaha i probably do in Spanish 😊😊 Thanks for the videos god bless. Miguel
I love this car! Absolutely awesome car! I love the Harley Earl Cadillacs of 1948 to 1960, and especially the El Dorado models. I prefer the 1957 Cadillac El Dorado Biarritz to the 1958 because it's less busy and less chrome laden. True fact: Virgil Exner over at Chrysler (responsible for the Forward Look cars of 1955-1962) sent a telegram directly to Harley Earl at GM in 1957 congratulating him on these car designs. He loved Harley Earl's Cadillacs made from 1955 to 1960.
1958 was the last year of Harley Earlesque GM cars - soft rounded shapes, luxurious looking in a rich American people kind of way. GM knew it had a problem so loaded 'em with trim. The Biarritz models were like GM concept cars from 1955, but it was 1958. Amazing inside and out, even if the end of a design road. No matter how nice this one was, it looks like it got a ton of careful restoration.
ANYONE who says that allowing the federal government to regulate, in ANY WAY, our once wonderful, fabulous, benchmark for the world auto industry, should be institutionalized. That Caddy is an absolute magnificent work of art, matched with unparalleled engineering, style and class. The 50s and 60s products that rolled off Detroit’s assembly lines will NEVER, EVER be surpassed.
that big gold starburst air cleaner hides a tri-power carb setup...standard on the eldorados. Also this a factory a/c car...not super common in the 50's, esp on convertibles, but i guess if you had the green to go get a biarritz, may as well go all the way. These are crazy cars...i have a 58 Fleetwood and it may as well be from outer space...these cars blow peoples minds...nothing beats a 58 GM product for glitz
The fact that Cadillac were capable of such build quality and technology in the 1950s is a testament to the brand's erstwhile status as _the standard of the world._ A Mercedes-Benz of the same era was a pile of junk compared to this.
Why can’t Cadillac make cars like that again instead they made these little plastic piles of junk I used to drive Cadillacs until they quit making them in 1993. After that they weren’t worth buying.
Charles, at first I thought you had presented what could likely be the pinnacle of mid century automotive bluster and hubris, only to be confronted my the most unforgivable gaffe in ALL of mid century design! ... The glaring absence of gay auntie script! Id like a word with the manager..🤨
Exquisite Cadillac 🤗 57 and 58 Biaritz were hand assembled. Yes Charles it's a Magnificent Machine. "I Know" 😁
INCREDIBLY STUNNING, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CLASSIC IS MAGNIFICENT-I LOVE IT.
WOW!!! That car looks like it just rolled out of the showroom! It's spectacular!!! Truly awe-inspiring!!!
So many details on every square inch of this work of art. ❤
What a supremely gorgeous automobile. One of the prettiest Cadillacs I have ever seen. Charles, you do such a great job,
Truly the ultimate classic luxury car🎉❤!

What an amazing looking car... It's 1958 in an automobile.
I'm so glad you've covered this car, Charles...but a gentle reminder that the 'i' in Biarritz is not silent.
Stunning Car!
How Sweet it is ❤

Grrrreat ✨🇺🇸 Santa Baby…. 😽 🎅🏻
Thanks Chuck👍
Pinnacle of "You've Made it Commander AstroMan" Fly this Space-Ship to the MOON, Baby. I Know
I see red. Exquisite red, not angry red. The chrome accents outside and in, put me in a theater.
That's 'Beeearitz' ,not 'Barritz'.
I knoooooow❤❤👌
Ho ho ho!
Um, both “Eldorado” and “Biarritz” are misspelled in your thumbnail.
Needs more chrome! 🤩😉🤣

The Standard Of The World. I much prefer the 58 styling to the 59 which I felt was too over the top.
Is this Tom Ingram’s Christmas Present 🎁 from you 🤗💕😬
Why didn't we go for a ride :(
Well, I lasted 1 1/2 minutes with your annoying voice. It's a shame, I truly love that Caddy !
I noticed an A/C compressor on the engine but don't see any vents inside ... unless those three flip-up vents that look like defrosters are them?
🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
wanna trade???
Did you notice two four-barrel carburetors?
Unwelcome observation: Doesn’t the front end look like a Chevy?
Yes! Very 1958 Chevy.
he sounds just like the guy who sells stuff on The View
@4:53 That's not leather.... that's pleather!
They should have put some chrome on it.

I can't believe you never put the fucking top down! WTF?
Over the TOP MUCH.?? Not the car, the announcer!!! Gotta get out of here!!!., 👎
The 59 Sedan de Ville surpassed this car in styling.
