- A DIY tutorial on Asuna's boots from the anime, Sword Art Online. This cosplay DIY project uses craft foam, and it's very easy and simple! If you're cosplaying as Asuna, save yourself some money and make your own accessories. I hope this is helpful! :)
✘ MATERIAL needed: 3mm craft, mod podge, silver acrylic paint, sticky velcro, and hot glue gun. All of these things be found at Wal-Mart or your local craft store (Michael's, Jo-Ann).

I don't have a diagram of the boot armor because I just kinda winged it :( But I'd recommend pausing the video when I showed the drawing to the screen to screencap the picture and print it out? Maybe then, you can play around with the shape and form something close to that. :)) Thanks for watching! I wish I could offer more help!

Yes, it came in one piece! :) The only thing I wish was that it was smaller and less heavy lol. It's quite big comparing to me and I'm 5'2.5" xD

+laravluggen I got them on eBay. I believe I searched up "White platform shoes." It's been years though, so I'm not sure if they're still available. You can definitely try there or at other Asian fashion sites. :) I totally struggled to find the right basic shoes when I was trying to make my own Asuna boots too. There's hope so keep looking!

There are simple tutorials online that you can refer to if you can make your own costume. Aww that's such a shame :( These boots are so cute and comfy; I love wearing them out ^^; I was scared of picking the wrong size, but I just measured my foot and compared it to the chart they had on Ebay & it worked out well!

SONICDEELYN Hello! Hm, that can be tough to find this costume for an 8 year old, but if she's tall, then a small size might work? I know there are tutorials online that teaches you how to make this costume yourself so you can do a quick Google search to find them. It'll require some experience with sewing and crafting though!
