This is an amazing video. It's a terrific metaphor for life. First you start learning how to dance alone, and then a bunch of crazy shit starts happening without any kind of warning and you need to figure out your place in the group. Everyone has a different way of fitting in, and as long as you're making a genuine attempt to add your song and dance to everyone elses, there's no real way to fail. "Life's a (dance) you don't get to rehearse" Fucking brilliant.
I see it as this: At first its an audition and they are dancing for others, theres a fixed choreography they made that will be judged by the judges kinda representing how we are afraid of judgement, and then the dancers appear and the judges let them lose themselves representing that we should sometimes lose ourselves in the moment and not care about anybody and dance like nobody is watching
I think this video fit the song perfectly. The song is (in my opinion) about the spontaneity of life, and just letting what happens happen. So the natural reactions of the dancers to the sudden change in set, their laughter at the confetti and dancers, it blended right in. Bravo Oh Wonder, you did it again

I love the reaction of every dancer, but to me, the asian lady's reaction was superb. It's like it was a moment she had been waiting for, for such a long time, and when the curtain dropped, surprised at first yes, but her smile made it known that it's exactly what she had been waiting for.
She was also my favorite. I wish we know their names so we can follow their social. This may not be a real audition though. The whole thing looks too pretty and rehearsed to be that spontaneous.

A couple weeks ago I was walking back to my dorm when this song came on shuffle. Nobody was on the sidewalk for as far as my eyes could see, so I just started free-styling like I was in this music video. It's fun to lose it every now and then.

Can't believe it's been 5 years. Often when I feel down or just need something to make me smile, I think of or watch this video. It's the perfect combination of a wonderful song and beautiful, talented people making beautiful, uplifting art. So genuine and wholesome.
