    It changes your dpi from print quality to web quality. I wish there was something like this in photoshop that allowed you to export an image, with a particular file size in mind, KEEPING the DPI the same

    My problem is that i need to compress more than 1000 pics. Do you know how to deal with it in quick way without losing quality just as you do in this video?

    • @ninjagraphics1
      @ninjagraphics1  วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm aware you can bulk resize images, which would reduce their size. But if you need to keep the size then I'd have to do more research.

    Is this for press quality print?

    • @ninjagraphics1
      @ninjagraphics1  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't go that far with this compression, press quality requires 300DPI and this is mostly for web-based purposes (72DPI).

      At the beginning of creating your file, there is a field where you can indicate how much DPI you want the file to be.

      The same method should apply to that, Alexander Rogan.

    • @DallasD_
      @DallasD_ ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks @@ninjagraphics1, its automatically converting the file from 300 dpi to 72 dpi after saving, im guessing since the tool is geared specifically for "saving for web", but i don't see any setting anywhere to keep the file at 300dpi? Am i missing something maybe?

    • @ninjagraphics1
      @ninjagraphics1  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@DallasD_ Ah you're right, it is converting it since its meant for web. What you can do as a simple solution is to click File -> Save As -> Select JPEG -> in JPEG Options select the Progressive format which tends to be the smallest file size, and then adjust the quality of the slider with preview ticked on and see how low you can go in size before losing quality.
