► Note for Advanced Users: This tutorial is intended for beginners, so we have intentionally not covered every single exception and detail that may confuse those new to Photoshop. These exceptions are not relevant in 99.9% of cases, even for advanced users. For instance, "Save As" can only be used with JPEG when you have a single layer. Additionally, we did not cover "Save for Web" since it is a legacy (outdated) feature that is only useful in specific advanced workflows today. If you're interested in learning more about these exceptions and features, we have separate advanced videos on these topics available on this channel.
► Note for Older Versions: "Save As" changed in 2021 with Photoshop v22.4, and "Save a Copy" was introduced. This video covers workflows in the updated version of Photoshop.

But I would love to see the exact series for premier pro from you because you just make vast and complicated things look easy
Sou usuário antigo, mesmo assim me confundia com conceitos básicos sobre esse processo. Seus vídeos são incríveis 🌴☀️
Photoshop king 👑
That’s true
I never skip these videos labelled "for beginners", there's always something to learn even though you're experienced.
I agree.
LOL, please forgive my typo at 09:28, I meant to write "Decoding."
"Take a screenshot and save it properly". ALWAYS learning something new, thank you.
I think the ethos and esssence of every single PiXimperfect lesson video can be summed up with “Did that look super confusing? Don’t worry. We’re going to get through it together. It will be fun.” This was just awesome. Thank you for the helpful flow chart of myriad save/save as/save a copy/export options. Took a screenshot. Great stuff.
Totally worth watching, even for advanced users. I have been using Photoshop professionally for over 13 years. But, even professionals use the same tools a little differently. I was sure that something about your methodology would be beneficial to listen to, and it was! 👍
Never needed to set-up autosave because as you mentioned, after one memorable moment, pressing ctrl+s is so automated, I sometimes do it when typing youtube comments. Thanks for still doing these 'how to save' vids, if memory serves you've done them in the past, but new and improved is always appreciated!
I just wan to say thanks for this beginners series. I've wanted to learn photoshop for a very long time, but always ended up just getting frustrated due to a lack of understanding of basic concepts. I'm happy to have these videos as a resource to take notes off of for easy reference while I try to progress through learning projects.

I am amazed that on all the videos on TH-cam for years and years that there has not been a single presenter cover the topic of file saving as it has always been overlooked. Well done Unmesh. Could you do an in-depth on File types and when to use them.

Captain Jack Sparrow version of Photoshop this line is really got me
🤣🤣🤣😂
Ctrl+s is a muscle memory ❤
Beautiful
great video i knew most part of this video already, but one new thing to learn was .tiff formate. it could be opened both by image viewer and photoshopwith layers, wow. no need to save a PSD and png formate for my clients.
If you use tiff with zip compression the file sizes will usually be smaller than PSD too, although that does decrease compatibility with other programs, so test before using.
Superb
Ctrl + S OCD 😂😂😂
Bro honestly you are the master...wish you the best ✌🏻
I loved seeing the picture of you with your mom. Next time you are invited home, make sure you request that sushi be on the menu.

tysm
22:39 Is Captain Jack Sparrow not gonna upload his stuff to the cloud directly from his Photoshop? LOL! I love what you say in the video.
Great video. Thanks for the share. I loved the design of the export/save/ diagram chart. Which program did you use for the creation of this sweet looking export chart diagram? Photoshop or something else? It would be cool seeing a nice tutorial on this topic as well - since we are often faced with the challenge of designing cool looking diagrams. Thanks in advance for your valuable feedback.
Very good! Do you happen to know if there is a way to disable the automatic insertion of the term "copy" suggested in the file name, when saving a copy? Thank you and success!
You’re a complete remedy.
thanks man +1 sub ;)
Sir can you makea video explaining the difference between ISO, exposure, brightness and gamma? I encountered this feature sliders often while taking photos or editing but still not clear about the basics.
Great video. My takeaway from this is that tiff is the most flexible for typical usage? And what about roundtrip with Lightroom would you recommend tiff or psd? I’ve been using psd but after watching this I’m considering making a layered tiff my default, including Lightroom roundtrip. What are your thoughts?
The things I’ve learned from you …. Plenty
I laughed so hard on that captain jack sparrow photoshop😂
