I don't mind Konami bring back Brilliant Fusion as long as Mine gets Banned I'm fine with it

Brilliant fusion probably won’t comeback but it’ll be interesting if it does to 1. Just like electrumite, it’s too strong

I disagree somewhat about Brilliant Fusion still being too powerful to come back. Back when Brilliant Fusion at 1, if I remember correctly, the Predaplant engine was also very prominent at the time, which was why people would continue playing it at 1 despite normally it would completely breaking their deck building.
The modern metagame is so volatile, where the meta is either "half your deck are handtrap interruptions", or "handtrap don't matter to me at all, break my board", that relying on a single normal summon as your jumpoff point probably isn't something sustainable.
If Fusion Destiny got limited, I have my doubts on people playing the Predaplant Engine just to keep consistent access to it, and in that same vein, I doubt that the average player would play that engine if Brilliant Fusion we're at 1.

Why not just ban the Seraphinite instead

because that doesnt fix the inherent problem: brillinant fusion allowing you access to the entire Gem knight Fusion Extra Deck with minimal investiment.
Seraphinite is just them ost notable because its requirement are easy to mee for the added normal summon(which is actually useful in pure gem knights due to a few of their monsters being gemini's)
not banning brilliant would eventually lead ot half of the gem knight extra deck getting hit for no fault of their own.
