I think McCullar has the best shot out of all the rookies to impress Thibs
Anytime you can grab a guy who averaged 18 in college and plays solid defense that late in the draft you have to grab him. Solid pick
I’m expecting great things from McCullar. I would have picked him, too. Solid choice.
Michael Redd shot 31.9% from 3 in college. He finished his NBA career shooting 38% from 3. I'd know. I coached him in college. McCullar can improve his shot. Redd is proof that if you put in the work.....

Redd had PG handles at the same height. I think Mculler is going to be solid. If he had Redd Handles??? He would have been drafted 3 years ago in the top 5 easily. His defense and midrange creation is big time. We’ll see.

@@AnimeBronxAchiuwa might be gone so need a replacement. Burks and Bogdan are gone too. They are 6’6, 6’7 and 6’8 and McCullar is 6’7. He could play his way into rotation especially Knicks looking at cost cutting measures since there is new Cap and Apron figures. Hence, cheaper alternative than FA. Coaching staff has developed and turned around careers in IQ, McBride and Grimes
If you really believe Thibs is gonna play rookies on a contending team you don’t know Thibs he is not gonna play the Knicks are no longer rebuilding they are in championship contending mode. Thibs will play vets or young vets 48 minutes before he gives a rookie minutes this season. He’s not going to play and I like him and the French kid. Thibs will play Josh Hart in that position.

Good morning CP..........I see the starting unit as JB, Mikal, OG, Randle, and Mitchell. Given that Thibs reputation was to play his starters a lots of minutes might change this year and might use the bench more as he has a certain trust level in the Big Rago and Hart and dare I say Kolek to give JB a breather.
He didn’t play his starters a lot of minutes last year…..

If y’all really believe Thibs is gonna okay rookies. Y’all haven’t been playing attention. Nobody drafted this year is playing this year. And most likely for the next two years. The dude they drafted at 56 has a better chance and he’s not gonna play this season.
Definitely Koleck isn’t playing. He isn’t even a NBA prospect to me. Hopefully he proves me wrong but I doubt it. It’s just not gonna happen.
When Thibs doesng play any of these rookies don’t be surprised. The Knicks will sign an unsigned veteran before they sign any of these rookies. They are gonna be developed for the future.
