Great video. Have always had a fear of missing the ship even though I have never been late getting back on board.

Time should always be on your mind when off of the ship. Do these people not pay attention to the time changes you go through when sailing? Why would you want to put yourself in such a situation?
I don't ever want to board late! I like the covered walkways(runways in this case. )
Pier runners, I remember in Colombia we were delayed for a hour as we wanting for 4 people, who got confuse with the times with ship time and local.
Are they really pier runners if they didn't get left behind on the dock?
That many people means it was probably an excursion that was late getting back.
They have completed some improvements on the dock since I was there last. 3 yrs ago.
Well, they will never be late again.
