Magnus using psycho trick... When he Arrives late, the opponent thinks at least I have few seconds advantage that means if I get into time scramble, I have a chance to win. Apperntly opponent puts himself in a lot of stress contemplating this. Magnus waits until the tension builds up and break his opponent in the end game. This trick works all the time 😂

Sometimes I wonder if Magnus's pattern of being late is intentional, in order to psyche out his opponents, or whether he just has a genuinely hard time waking up or getting himself ready and on time for the matches. Anyway, the time disadvantages this puts himself in hardly seem to matter.

The switching of the camera angle from the main shot being somewhat level with the board and with digital view in the center, then to the close up overhead without the digital view was really frustrating and hard to keep oneself oriented. Lost all perspective each time it did that. It was dizzying.

This is a psychological game from Magnus. Getting late, makes the opponent impatient and getting them furious. When he arrives, opponent is already not thinking about the game. Chess games needs to have a proper rules. Example if the game starts 12:00, everyone should be there on time. If they’re late, 5min wait. After 5 minutes don’t start the clock, you have to disqualify the guy.
