Holds them to a point that isn't ridiculous, no warbling or anything dumb & he just sounds spectacular. My Grandpa & Nan both sang with the Welsh Operatic Choir, my Nan whilst Ghost isn't really her thing haha, loves Papas voice & delivery. That's quite the compliment haha.

Papa's deadpan delivery is just darkly delicious. He's simultaneously taking himself seriously, but not. Genius. It's a fantastic way of twisting people's perception and expectations of the band and toying with everyone, like a tuxedo cat with a mouse. I mean 'Zombie Queen' is such an exquisitely frightening song, putting a kazoo and flamenco hand claps in it just makes your head explode with the contradiction, (but you'll die with a smile on your face). The earnest dedication to both perfectly crafted horror and comedy is fiendishly clever. It's like a 1950s B movie that's deliberately so bonkers it's brilliant. Papa's like an ironic heavy metal Ed Wood.

Papa don't need pro tools or auto tune. His voice is just phenomenal live. He sounds better live then on the albums not saying they're bad recordings. Most bands sound amazing on record but live its aweful. Tobias sounds great on record but fuckin phenomenal live and acoustic.
I love how Tobais feels the music out with gestures. It's a sign his mind is completely involved in the moment, the passion of music being expressed through body movements. Take a look at the history of Music, most of the musical genius's do this.
