If anyone asks me what variety of apricots I am growing in the next few years I will just say, whatever variety Woolworths sells because I have 4 of their seeds stratifying in the refrigerator at the moment My grandfather used to water his commercially grown Lady finger banana plants for 3 days non stop during a dry spell up near Mullumbimby in NSW. He had a sprinkler irrigation system which water was siphoned out of the local creek which is actually the beginning of the Brunswick River which ends at Brunswick Heads of all places, he didn't have to pay for the water. It got up to 35°C today in my area but it was unusual because we also had a cool W/SW breeze which made it feel cooler !
Beautiful atmosphere, very delicious, fun to watch, very good.

You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it.
Wow, those apricots really looked beautifully golden. Happy holidays.
They're the best cold climate fruit, and we wish you happy holidays too!
@RealLifeFruitopia Thank you. 😀
What does apricots taste like? I never had one. I don’t have to deal with birds but I have to deal with possums and mice.
They taste almost like a cross between a peach and a plum.
how soon do you need to put the net up ? only once fruit are almost ripe or early on?
I cover with the first signs of blush, but it's safer when they're still green. I found a fruit with worms the next day, so I was a week or two late.
Is it Fireball dwarf apricot ?
Trevatt dwarf

Maximum was 17C here today., felt like early August, not December!
My apricot sometimes gets those spots and it’s from rust
They taste perfectly fine. Thanks for sharing.
