If the original version is sung by a quartet of regular turrets, then this version is sung by the defective turrets. It's a deeper and more metallic sound, and it's awesome!

I want to make my own floppy music, just waiting for a new arduino and a working floppy drive (my only floppy drive i have is really broken, so if there's no way to directly wire to the stepper im screwed) :)
Also, I plan to add a hard drave for percussion (*totally* not an idea shamelessly stolen from +Laurens Weyn)

With floppy drives
From what i can gather, basically the computer takes a string of notes and translates each note into a movement value for the sliding part on the floppy disk, making it move a certain ammount and thus producing the note.
