I recommended Dayang mv to some of my former teachers in secondary school. I was surprised ginagamit na pala nila ibang Alamat mvs sa classes nila. Ang Alamat daw kasi ang pinaka klaro sa konsepto nila at madali gawan ng lessons para matuto ang mga students sa kultura at kasaysayan natin. Alamat is an OPM gem which will survive generations of music.

I support Alamat hindi dahil sa idol culture but because of their concept. I agree with Jao, ang ganda ng integration ng cultural and modern dance sa choreography na to. I personally love Dayang as a song, and I am glad na nabigyang-hustisya ng choreography na to yung feels na nakukuha ko sa kanta. Sobrang fluid ng steps na parang dinuduyan lang sa kanta yung bawat galaw. Nakakafrustrate lang yung liit ng practice room nila, given na malalaking tao sila and malalaking galaw yung need sa choreography. But anyway, I really admire the passion and dedication ng Alamat and their staff into their craft. I am looking forward to the time na may better resources na sila to further enhance their art.
For me, the Dayang choreography is my favorite choreography of any P-pop song that I know. It seamlessly blends traditional dance into it and makes it so unique and highlights the beauty of Philippine folk dance. Well done! ❤
Maybe this is the most complicated kasi nangibabaw yung traditional dance to modern dance in all their dance choreos but check mo lahat, iba ibang flavor and madidiscover mo yung iba't ibang references. ❤

Recent lang ako na-expose sa ALAMAT, and I didn't.know na may ganitong group tayo. I've been sleeping on them all this time!😢 This is the kind of musical group na dapat tinatangkilik ng mga Pinoy. They embody aspects of our culture, and even give spotlight sa mga indigenous groups. Mix of traditional and cultural element with modern sound is dope. We only get to see this with Performing Arts. Department of Tourism should get them as honorary ambassadors😅 They deserve more recognition,.like BINI and SB19. Keep going ALAMAT! New Magiliw here ❤

DAYANG choreo is so sophisticated bc of the major fraction of folk dance/martial arts incorporated! Anyway, what I observed sa choreo practice ng ALAMAT: 1. Cute ni Jao and Mo (our bunso line! 😭💗) 2. Ang daming Armas moments 😭✨ Tas pagnagkamali si Rji cute ng face HAHAHAHAHHAHA 😝 3. Taneo is dead serious all through out! Grabi dedication ni Taneyersss talaga!! 💗🧚♀️ 4. Ang intimidating ni Alas tingnan paghindi nagsasalita pero ang amo (parang baby) ang mukha kapag nakatawa/nakasmile 😭 ewan kaya siguro bias ko to HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA 5. All members kita talaga effort! Go lang guys, marami pa kayong mararating 💗💗

Interesting... I wish they provided dates for the recordings so that the fans can track and appreciate the evolution/progress of the choreography. If I'm not mistaken, a portion of Dayang's choreo made its debut during Ppop Con 2023 (it's that unique kaya naalala ko). The choreo for the PBA opening, Dagundong concert, defunct dance MV and Dubai gig is slightly different from the "polished" version being performed today. So it was not as cut and dried as shown in the video. 19:37 onwards is spliced footage (you can tell from the hair styles and hair color) that doesn't follow the chronological order of the narrative presented if you're to consider the closing remarks of the boys in the video. Also, Jao and Joseph Fermin spoke about the inspiration behind the dance moves and JPL made a post about it pero nicer sana or more educational if the info was integrated in the dance vlog.
