Cracking job on headlining , I’ve never done one before but I’ve plenty of bugs wanting headliners. Now after watching this I feel a bit more confident thanks
Getting ready to do this on my daughters ‘70 this weekend and I’m nervous. Everyone says what a pain it is. This gives me hope. Thanks for the video. I bought those clamps to help hold it in place as well as the same kit from Jbugs. Crossing my fingers and saying all the prayers ours looks as professional as yours!
My anxiety levels and ocd hit an all time high as I’m pointing to the sagging bits in the pillars and saying don’t leave this like this the glue is drying! then the roof saggy bits all they needed was stretching out so they are taught before clipping. 2 men would have made sooo much better. If it’s your first time not bad a job on your own.
Good job on the install. I'm going to have to replace mine. I went so fast, It burnt around the front windshield from the heat . I put a jet engine in mine last spring, and the chicks really dig me.
I’ve never seen a square speedo on an early bug before. I owned a ‘69 and my gauges were round. Great video too. We have very similar taste in vehicles. Your like a younger and fitter version of me. I REALLY enjoy your style of videos. Keep up the great work
For me the grippers above the doors dindn't close no matter how hard i hit them with the rubber mallet. Had to glue an extra strip to it so it would be thicker and not come back out. Anyone with the same problem?
Actually the way the app is set up, if I don’t react to a comment or remove it, it stays on my home page. I don’t mind people leaving negative feedback I just prefer not to see it every time I open the app. If passing judgement on other people’s work makes you feel good about yourself that’s fine, but I shouldn’t have to read your comments more than once.
Finally! After literally months of searching, a good bug headliner video...thanks! I'm gonna subscribe just because this will be so helpful.

How did it go with your headliner install?
I’m watching closely, I will attempt a headliner on my bug. You sure did a good job on this one as well as the 356.

First class and I like the way it's divided into consecutive segments. I had a 64. I should have kept the 1200 and not put the 1600 in.
Why did the 1600 give you problems?

I have to do this very soon, and I am dreading it...LOL Nice video!
Great work, I'm going to have to do this to our 69, will definitely be referring back here to watch again, thanks.
Patina is the way to go.
Vou reformar o meu Fusca aqui no Brasil 🇧🇷, obrigado
Is this the original style headliner or the newer "easy install" one?
This is the original style. I definitely should have gone with the newer easier style
Excellent travail.👍
hopefully one day you will do a complete restoration like this beetle but on a volkswagen t2.
I always wondered how that was done. Nice video.
Wow.. you have skills
Where Can I get that headliner kit?
JBugs

Muchas gracias por enseñar el procedimiento.
Que pegamento usaste?
Thanks for teasing me with your Porsche 911. Now, I've lost interest in seeing the Bug headliner install.😄
Here’s a link to the 911 playlist 👍 th-cam.com/play/PLHSrLPAGC1x55dUBIIMiF3NEu_kUX2lw-.html
I thought you had to put foam under the headliner.
You definitely should
What spray adhesive are you using? Very informative by the way!
Thanks buddy. Heres a link to the adhesive I used amzn.to/2SOy9ES

Even the windshield must be removed? yikes
Very cool: negative comments are immediately deleted because the guy doesn't want his bad work to be discovered. That's just embarrassing!
