DGD is part of swan core which is a genre they made themselves
Swan-core. Named after Big Weeknd Will Swan. Such a unique guitarist people gave him his own genre
Dgd lowkey transcended the genre, and formed what ya can call “swancore” lmao since will swan has a few other projects that have a similar vibe and his label “blue swan records” have just kinda formed that new genre.
Also, gibby I’d love to see you react to some older dgd tracks from pre-tillian eras. At least “uneasy hearts weigh the most” , “Carl Barker”, “purple reign” and “blue dream” 😂😂 they’re classics.

Genre? Pop, punk, metalcore, funk, blues, R&B? Constantly changing melodies and tempos makes this band unpredictable, and I totally dig it. Old and new, this is one of my favorite bands of all-time. Incredibly unique, and nothing like them. And his name is Jon, 🍓... lol.
