Wow! You are a gifted artist! The repairs are incredible . Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial ! And I love the music including the final scratching. Everything is just top notch! ❤❤❤
Happy New Year friend, brilliant work with all that colour matching etc, that piece look's great. have a nice day friend and keep them video's comin !!!. Brian UK !!!. 😀👍🖌🖌🪚.
Just discovered your channel. Really enjoying so far! I’m working on a waterfall tallboy dresser with hairline cracks in some of the drawer veneers. The veneer is solid though (no bubbling or lifting). Would love a video that shows how to address the cracks. Haven’t had much luck in the search results for that. TIA!
Welcome to Montford Boulevard! We've seen cracks like you describe in drawer front veneers. We'll watch for an opportunity to demonstrate that kind of repair soon.
Thank you for the information great detail and explanation. I often get stuck with this part of the restoration. I’m a huge fan of art deco furniture and grab it when I can. Enjoy the New Year!
Love your talent. Have you done any rock maple furniture? Not sure of the property style name. Was popular in the 30and 40s. Had a rich dark brown/ red finish. Would love to see how to replicate it. Have an old foot stool that was my grandparents.
@ArtDecoFurniture it's at her moment in vt. I'm in the process of moving to Mississippi. Qhen the weather improves in the spring I'll send pictures. Also have some deco and funky mi d century stuff in the barn.
Thank you so much for sharing this information and for providing links to specific materials! This was very helpful! Mohawk has several formulations that seem to have similar purposes, and I don’t have the knowledge to understand their specific uses. Do you ever use graining liquid for touch ups?
I assume that is your dad? How he can do such amazing work wearing the safety goggles and respirator is beyond me! Even knowing where the damage was you cant tell.
The color will need work no matter what the filler is - and we're still looking for a filler that dries as quick and sands as well as Bondo. Any suggestions?
@@seanobrien7169 i havent upload videos for 4 years. But i watch a lot of forniture and restoration in general. All videos that dont have the finish results have more views. For obvious reasons
Happy New Year! What are your goals for this year? We hope to do a few furniture hunting road trip videos. 🎥 🎩
So enjoy watching masters match the colors! IT IS AGAIN LOVELY! Well, well, well done once more gents!
Much appreciated!
wow that touch-up work was amazing!

Thanks so much Lisa!
Yes, this looks like art restoration.
“Art” Deco was an accurate term indeed.
Wow how impressive!!!

Thanks so much! We'll watch for a chance to work with rock maple furniture. Would be fun to see your old foot stool.

They indeed have a TON of products! We have not used graining liquid, but will look into it.

It's a trained eye! He's very skilled at this.

Wow, that looks so good. How long did it take you to get good at this?
Thank you! The basics take only a month or so to pick up, but there is always, always more to learn in touchup.
It would be more easy to use wood filler in the good color. Why bondo?

Buddy if you want more views, dont put the final result in the miniature
We've actually found the opposite to be true - but the research is ongoing...
You have 19 subscribers and 8 videos? You're an expert? 😂😂😂😂
