I can’t believe that’s it. I was hating on the washing machine for months till I saw this comment and it fixed my h2o error hell. Thanks for sharing!!!
We got the error code mid wash. It had already filled with water by this point and had been running 30 mins. Paused the machine for a min then resumed and the message cleared and the beeping stopped. The Hotpoint delivery drivers advised not putting anything under the machine as there’s no point.
Two other checks for those in hard water areas. First, check the water feed pipe to make sure there has not been any calcium build up - clean out if that is the case, or, if really bad get a new water pipe. Second examine the connection point at the machine inlet - this has a filter (which you can see clearly) and (as in my case) can build up junk which restricts the flow of water. The symptoms for this were an intermittent showing of "H2O" but still, eventually, finishing the wash. A sure sign of restricted input flow!
First wash with new machine should have taken only 90 mins but was still going 3 hours later with H2o on display. No hose or valve problems. Bad start😏
@@alexsmoke7682 it's low water pressure. Apparently and for some absurd reason the machine has only a small window of time to refill with water or it will default. It's ridiculous. All my previous machines had no issue. So what if it takes a few extra minutes to fill. What's the hurry. They say it's to conserve energy. But I'd have to get a pump powered by electricity to boost the pressure. Absolute bonkers. You couldn't make it up.
So my machine will turn on and fill with water but 30 seconds later it won’t do anything but the timer will go down. Once it came up with the H2O code and I checked and everything seemed fine. Now it just fills with water and sits there till the timer runs out.
My Indesit is 2 weeks old and giving this error. No issues with the inlet hose at all and it's looking like I need to fork out for an engineer. This is my first Indesit washing machine and what an awful way to start off.
It's down to low water pressure. Apparently all new machines are built with a time sensor for the refill of water. H20 will show if it hasn't recieved adequate water in that time frame. Bonkers stuff
I have the machine " BWE91284". I got the error of H2O when I run all the programs except of the 'Rinse' program. For all the programs the washing machine start it doesn't make the sound of getting water, after two minutes the h2o appears and the washing machine will continue to peep. Any help please
@phoebe sperrin It's because of low water pressure. All new machines are built with a time sensor for the refill of water. All I can do is be present during the wash. When it beeps I turn dial to rinse and spin. Then back to the initial wash(just to rinse again). Then rinse and drain. Just too bad I can't leave while doing a wash.
Anyone coming to this and still having the problem, the issue is likely to be the valve within the machine. We had this error and checked water inlet and outlet with no problems found. Got a repairman out and he said it was the valve, which he replaced and all is well now. The part was £15
Fault F06 or H2o or tap symbol.A possible cause is the filter in the inlet pipe has become partially blocked, isolate the water supply, place towel under pipe to catch remnants of water unscrew fitting, pull out and clean gauze and refit (these are usually red or white plastic) refit pipe turn on water supply and re try, ensuring no leaks. I always say isolate the electricity supply for added safety.
Error H2O was sorted by turning off, unplugging and then removing the 'plinth' at the bottom of the fromt panel, unscrewing the drain pump cover, standing back to let out litres of water. Replacing all to finish.
OOps. Didnt work after all! Sorry. Just fills up nicely and started the wash, then went into error H2o again, with pause light flashing. Hitting the pause button to restart only filled in more water, it just doesnt know when to stop.
Hi Is there an error with the draining process, any water left in the drum? If there is no error turn your appliance off, unplug and leave it for an hour then turn back on. Kind regards Hotpoint Service
@@HotpointCustomerServiceUK Hi I’m getting this to every thing works fine till drain out time , the drain pipe was blocked up I’ve now cleared the .but still getting the H20 code up right at the end of cycle , you can hear water drains ok but it still pops up , ?
@@robwright6673 you have low water pressure. Was no problem with older machines but all new machines are built with a time sensor for the refill rinse wash.
So the video didn't help and I have to wait 9 DAYS for a repair. This is a 7 month old machine. Meanwhile, I have no means of washing my clothes and the nearest launderette is 19 miles away. I asked for an address to complain and was told it takes up to 7 DAYS to respond to a written complaint and there's no email address. That is shocking. I won't be buying another Hotpoint/Indesit machine again
Also if your waters off that'll do it I just learned that cos I forgot to put the water back ok after a flood I had lol 😂🤭🫢☺️just obviousness right there I feel stupid lol 😆

Chill out love jeez
Pausing and continuing helped me to get rid of it. Turns out the pressure was low for a moment and machine stuck in error state.

Same problem. I brought a brand new machine nd installed the machine nd it coming at h20

Thanks dear
So if H2O code up and beeping, possible low water pressure. What did you do about it? Driving me crazy...washing won't wash...water will not fill...
