You forgot the savage moment where Kermit is teaching short and long time with Grover. First, Kermit demonstrate of singing a note for a short time. Which last one second. Grover then demonstrates long time by singing a note for about a minute. Same thing with hopping on one keg. Grover he wants to do short, and Kermit will be long. 'NOT ONLY I WANTEDE IT, I INSIST ON IT' Grover says. THE SAVAGE & MEAN PART: Kermit tells Grover to TICKLE him for a short time. Grover tickled Kermit for a second. "NOW I'M GONNA TICKLE GROVER FOR A LONG TIME!" Which causes Grover to run while being tickled by Kermit.
I knew #1 would be Elmo rebuking Rocco. And I knew the whole Grover/Mr. Johnson series would be up there, although in the later sketches, Grover was the one who was more in the wrong.
My mom and her siblings actually went to school with Caroll Spinney - the original voice actor and puppeteer for Big Bird. My one of my aunts use to tell me she use to have a massive crush on Caroll when they were in high school, and at one point apparently I met Caroll (I was really little so I don’t have a lot of memories of this.) So whenever I see old clips of the Spinney-era Big Bird it’s very special to me.

I personally did not like the moment when Larry David attacked Elmo. It might be funny to some people at the same time to me, it wasn’t. I believe during that time, Elmo and his dad were on the talk show to promote a positive message about an important issue, I do not remember what that message was at the same time it was for families and children. Very small children are very connected to puppet characters especially the ones on Sesame Street. Seeing them being harmed in any way can be very scary and sad and even mad for children.
What's so amazing about Muppets/Sesame Street is how so many generations grew up with them, they fit so well for childhood education and adult comedy. From teaching numbers to threatening to sue. Too funny

Think about it - a grown woman in her early to mid 20s, dressed in a skimpy bridal gown, chasing a monster (who's three and and half years old, btw) while singing 'Hot and Cold' (a song about a guy being a emotional/sexual tease). Thank God this sequence was never aired - it's downright horrifying in context.

Savage? You want savage? Here it is: While Ernie burying Bert and then Sherlock Hemlock in the sand is one thing, and Ernie being reluctant to help Bert with the groceries is another. Both were featured on "Watch Mojo's Worst Things Ernie has ever done to Bert on Sesame Street." If you want savage with a capital S that is enough make Ernie SUPER unlikable, there is a skit where Bert is writing a letter to Mr. Rogers and Ernie turns on the fan and blows away all the paperwork. Bert yells at him and says that he is "hot and bothered" and Ernie says that if he is, he will turn on the fan. He turns it on and the fan was in all full hurricane mode, causing the papers to make a mess and Bert get miserable and Ernie doesn't care. 😡 Now that is highly antagonistic with a capital A. Mean with a capital M. Why can't Bert move out of Sesame Street or get him evicted. 😠
I always hated Elmo!! He’s so annoying!! But what about when Kermit and the little girl are singing the alphabet song and the girl keeps mentioning Cookie Monster, and Kermit got sick of her obsession with Cookie Monster!!! LOL it was funny AND cute at the same time!

Because when I saw Watch Mojo's Top 10 Jump The Shark Moments on TV, the voice over asked, "Was there any show that jumped the shark? Leave it on the comments below." I wrote about how Elmo ruined "Sesame Street" and this guy came and defended that it was an infantile thing to say. I told him it is just an opinion and he lashed back and wouldn't shut up about how bad it is to say such things. I brought up how I saw people who hate "Reading Rainbow" and he said, "Don't you change the subject." And brought up the Larry David incident. He is some kind of emotionazi. Despite the links of proof and being nice to him, he didn't approach the situation in a civilized manner. Look, while I don't like Elmo, he doesn't deserve to be tormented by Larry David.
