wow what an amazing tutorial... I just found I can add a channel mixer to convert certain frequencies of the low end to mono by using a band splitter, how to create a reese bass using sine waves and frequency and amplitude modulation, and how good is the table editor for building a bass. Thank you! 👍
how do you guys automated the pitch bend wheel??? is it automated by in serum or by outside LFO??? there is no any mention on this video about that, but the pitch bend wheel is automated.
You can assign an envelope to the pitch with a slight drop, to me that would be the simplest way - BUT usually in these DNB Academy vids they automate inside the DAW
If you use ableton on your effect chain where serum is there should be an arrow and a little tool icon on the top right, click that so the drop-down menu shows and click the configure button then go into serum and wiggle the pitch bend/whatever other parameter you want to automate and it should pop back up on the serum drop-down menu. From there right click and automate parameter
Its easy to do it in serum.....go in the matrix in serum select LFO2 on the SOURCE and MASTER TUNING in the DESTINATION, put lfo2 in ENVELOPE MODE at a rate 1/2, and make the lfo shape so its a straight line from top left to bottom right (or whatever u fancy) then just change the amount in the matrix to 2 (or whatever u fancy)
@@ShieldJesus420 bit crushing isnt distortion, its reduction. And noise isnt harmonics its actually a lack of harmonic content since its a full spectrum freq so it would mask harmonic content you would typically add to you sound.
Another awesome tutorial by Molecular - dude smashed it
MCharachter by Melda can give you those upper harmonics btw. A slept on plug
This is an excellent video and I hope it gets out to the people who need it - it’s not a technique that has many vids around so big up

A tutorial on how you made the drums in this video would be sweet.
He's never gonna show that that's trade secrets bro

Nice one!
thanks molecular!
thats not harmonics, thats just noise. lol
*Click: turns on noise osc.
Distorting generates harmonics he started with just a sine wave (one harmonic) and noise then bit crushed + distorted
