I think the practical test should be on the road itself using modified vehicles which has brakes on passenger side as well for the instructor like in every other countries as the drivers need to drive on the roads where there are many hazards. I think this is why so many people are killed every year in road traffic accidents because of lack of proper training and traffic instructions.
Bro, the trial track is actually narrower than the average road of Nepal. And as far as having examiner in passanger seat with extra foot pedals (on the trial track or on actual road) it will be a lot easier to bribe the examiner (some still manage to bribe in this system also, where actually multiple traffic police are observing him).
In India we don't have to do all this, we can just bribe the RTO and get license and then run over the vehicle on to the footpath with pedestrians and still get away with this crime by giving bribe. Very proud of my nation. Everything here works on bribe.
