It has one of the best factory reverb and analog delay found in any synth. I was blown away with the use of ocs also first day i got it a year ago is like you have 2 synths playing same time modulating each other. And them distortions..it gets dirty very fast. From dark electronica to industrial techno it makes an impact and sounds always pissed off🤣 I love this synth i am also using it as an fx send box for my modular. Dave smith throw everything inside on this one.
Currently saving to finally get one,.. so im back to watching videos about it. 🥺 I want the teo-5,.. but i think i still need to get this one first. Rhythmic drones and textures!!!! 😭💜
The tuned feedback on this is fantastic, and an extremely uncommon feature. Combined with distortion, it allows almost any patch to go from "well behaved" to "doom soundtrack" (or anywhere between) in just a knob turn or two.
I've heard people say that the tuned feedback on the 3 is better than on the 2, and now I know that's correct. That and the sequencer seem to be the main advantages over the 2, which has advantages of its own.
Honestly, the tuned feedback is why I bought the synth. It's such a unique and usable feature that's right on the front panel. It has a very inspiring, guitar-like experience.
@@reginaldbraithewaite5833 Is it definitively better? I have a PRO2 and the feedback seems like it doesnt have enough of its own head-room to accomodate how much gain-staging the PRO2 is capable of. What this means is, when I am indulging multiple gainstages (even if just to a small degree) then the feedback can suddenly reach its maximum setting, as in, feedback amount 30 might be subtle, 35 is already fairly intense, and then 36 and above is all the same. It does seem like from what I hear of the PRO3 on youtube is that the feedback seems to have more play or range, but I didnt want to say definitely having not really spent time with it.
Hi Julian! I just bought the Pro 3 and it is wonderful, I'm still learning... regarding the LFOs, is there a way to modulate the rate according to the note one plays? For example, in higher notes does the rate sound more frequent or faster, and in lower notes does it sound slower? i have and Argon 8 and I'm trying to recreate my custom sounds on the pro 3... thank you!!!
I love my Pro3. Best sounding and hands on Monosynth imho. But.... Sequential has only a handful of Videos on this Beast online? Shame for such an inspiring company!
It would be nice if you could modulate the sequencer division as you can on Subsequent37 (and also synchronize looping envelopes). Before haters hit me, I have both and love both almost equally. But if I had to sell one, can you guess which? Peace, My Babies.😏🤩😎 btw....I purchased a Pro One when it came out Originally. For any doubters...this synth is SO AWESOME...totally worth it. The SE is definitely worth the extra ducats!
@@customsynth i havent had that problem with mine , it retriggers fine , and transposes if different keys are used . I use an mpcx and an mpc live , BUT i have to admit , i use MIDI 5 pin DIN . It does not like USB very much , i found it dropped out . Odd really considering Dave Smith was THE king of midi .

The Drone from 6:13 to 7:08 was wicked 🤘
Great video series!

Good video Sequential
The industrial patch was pretty amazing.
Love a vid on creating the industrial patch.
You are a true virtuos artist! Where to download these patches?
FIREEEEEE!!!!
You are the only dude I saw taking juice out of it.

J, if this were my first synth would you recommend over the p6? Most R&B music and gospel
Oh my god. Are these patches available to buy? 😳
As a gift - I hope!!
I still don't understand if this synth has its own effects engine such as reverb, delay, and other
HI Alkamael: yes, Pro 3 has dual digital effects including reverb, delay, chorus, and more.
Great stuff, so happy you're doing this. Any chance we can get the patches? @sequential
new patches will be released on thursday, i think
@@iwillnevergetone5 Correct, according to the forum post at least! :D

Anyone else get a "Ross Geller" vibe @7:00?
take my money @9:38 🤑 Wow!
I’d call that last preset, 1 tab to many!
Lol.

love the pro 3 , shame it wont stay in sync being triggered , pain in the # really , but great synth
Osc sync or tuning?
