Very pleased to hear it. I am still getting into it myself. I suspect that there are other people who use spreads like this, but I have never come across them in books.
At last! To prevent myself from interpreting MA cards, I first listened carefully to your 78 keywords video. Once I drew five MA cards, I then proceeded to formulate the questions based on your keywords. Afterwards, I drew the messages or the advice cards. Here I had to apply your yin and yang rule because, initially, I had 3 out of 5 cards reversed. I answered every single question and then wrote an overall summary of the reading. At last, I am pleased! PS: My IT husband calls me a nerd-what a paradox?! 😀
Ladies and jellyspoons! 😀Oh why? Hell, why not? So funny! Great spread btw! I promise to steal this one from you !😀Sonia😘 PS: There is a similar spread by Barbara Moore in her book Tarot Spreads. It is called Circle of Advisors Spread. PSS: I do wonder, why do I keep forgetting about these more fun spreads in my practice? The Devil always pulls me towards 'same old' past-present-future or issue-advice type of spreads.
By the way I hope you are feeling better… by the way can you recommend some of your favorite spreads? Maybe you have some links for me to check out… thanxxxx and have a wonderful Sunday…
@@MysticRob82 Hi Rob, I'm glad you liked the video. I do have a playlist called Tarot Tips and Tutorials and there you will find some of my favourite spreads. Enjoy!
This is a fabulous spread! Very original. I wondered about what would happen if I asked my question before drawing the Major Arcana cards to devise the spread instead of after? Would it then give me the spread I needed in order to answer my question perhaps? Or would it just over complicate things?
Yes it is. And the box is nice. The deck itself is rather odd - as you probably know the majors are Wirth and the minors are done later by someone else, and they're not very good.
@@teatarot4557 Just to make sure that we understand each other. I was asking about the advice or message cards in this Self-Generating Spread. I noticed that you turned all MA cards upright, because these are themes. I understand that bit. Then you proceeded to draw one card next to each MA card. So my question applies to these cards. If you got more than half of these reversed, would you reverse them?
@@teatarot4557 I am here to report that I over-complicated this spread😞 What I mean is, I didn't just say, 'What is hidden from my subconscious in The Devil', instead I proceeded to rumble about The Devil, getting into every nuance, and then I did the same for the advice card, right next to it. And then I combined the two. I was reasonably happy with my results until I realised this was not quite what you were showing us! At least, I streamlined the MA cards from 5 to 3, because the IG format is not suitable for big readings. I will have to work on this one a little bit longer .. I will introduce the proper version as 'Version 2.0' 😀 PS: Robert, I've got a suggestion on how to come out of that boredom. Set up a paid Tarot course for us, Tarot Readers and Tarot Aficionados. To me, you have long outgrown the student and the reader stages. You are very clearly a teacher, possibly a master teacher. Nobody can take your place. You can calmly disseminate your knowledge and, thus, make sure that after you, there will be other readers and teachers carrying the torch.
@@SoniaTheLittleWitch Hi Sonia - I hope the spread works out for you! And thanks for your very encouraging words. Yes I should teach. I have some resistance, because I hated school so much. But I am very much enjoying the feedback I am getting here on TH-cam and I think I will get around to it eventually! When I do, I will consult with you and the others and work out the best way to do it. Rx
So interesting!
Separate idea - it would be interesting to discuss outcome cards in the general 🌞
Thank you. Very interesting. Will try soon, once the day and brain get quiet.
A great spread 😀👍
Thanks Nick. I'm quite excited about it. 🙂
I love it! Wonderful way to ensure you are asking the right questions! I did a reading right away and it was... interesting.

Very cool, I really liked the heptagram spread as well. Will be giving this one a try
Great. Let me know if you come up with any ways of developing it. 🙂

Simple spreads are important. Simplicity is important, so that you can just channel the messages🙂
Hey Robert…. Thank you very much for the video…. I enjoyed it very much….😊I really like some of the spreads you showed… I will be trying them.

Hi David, I think you could do it either way. I think it's OK to experiment. Whichever way feels most comfortable and inspiring to you.
Is the WIRTH deck a Lo Scarabeo mini? I wish they would make their full sized tarot boxes out of the same material.
Yes it is. And the box is nice. The deck itself is rather odd - as you probably know the majors are Wirth and the minors are done later by someone else, and they're not very good.
PS: What about yin and yang rule for the advice cards? Would you reverse the reversals, if there were more than 3 of them?
No, I only use the Yin Yang rule for the basic spread. I never flip any extra illuminating cards.
